Poke'mon Heart Gold/Soul Silver Wi-Fi

So I want to evolve my Onix into a Steelix and also get a Poke'mon with Mean Look maybe. I might also be up to battle. So what I might be asking is that someone is willing to play Heart Gold/ Soul Silver with me. I might not be sure how to connect to other players so if you know, could you please explain the process to me if there is one maybe.
