I found this article while reading Christianity Today's responses to the supreme courts' rulings yesterday. (BTW CT is actually publishes pretty good articles overall IMHO). The most fascinating thing was that the author connects the LGBTQIA coalition with Gnosticism:
  • "There is really only one conviction that can hold this coalition of disparate human experiences together. And it is the irrelevance of bodies – specifically, the irrelevance of biological sexual differentiation in how we use our bodies. . . For behind the dismissal of bodies is ultimately a Gnostic distaste for embodiment in general."
What do you guys think about this conclusion?

Good article! While gender and marriage don't matter in the afterlife we are still called to treat our bodies as temples. While not an ideal solution, the Biblical way of handling homosexual tendencies is to not act on them.

So if the Bible is not the ideal solution, what do you recommend? :-P

Like any sexual sin, you're not suppose to act on it, this includes pre-marital sex, adultery or homosexual acts. I don't know how well converting from homo to hetero lifestyles work (I've heard positive and negative stories about this) but with Jesus anything is possible.
