going in for training to be a Standardized Patient at the local state U's med program.

That won't be many hours, though. I'll have off-and-on work at a local organic farm as well, and I just set up my first ever plasma appointment. haha

The only irritating thing is my parents, who havent given let me enjoy myself for a day since school got out.
I had a long day yesterday, so I thought I might sleep in a little (having gotten to bed around 2). Mom woke me up at 9, because apparently sleeping in belongs to those with a job. Seriously? I applied to like 10 places at the end of last week (having ended school on thursday), How can I help it if I haven't gotten a call back yet, and what does me getting out of bed have to do with anything?

More incentive to move out I guess.

Hope they let you sleep in on the weekends at least. :\

Probably a good bit of that, yeah. But also finding a job is more than just putting in apps.

Go out to your car, drive a few blocks/miles, lean your seat back and sleep.
Problem solved. >.>

Envy you, do I not. I remember having to job search post-college when I lived with my parents. I'm still not happy with how they handled things. Just reading what you said is starting to well some of these feelings back up.
Job searching, especially when you don't have a job, already brings with it a huge emotional toll. I hate it and I dread it. I feel anxious just thinking about updating my resume. It gets better later, after you get some more experience and confidence and even more so when you are already working.
So, good luck. You just have to get through this hump with a prodigious amount of applications and resumes.

Luckily enough for me, I do have a job during the evenings, from which I get 15 hours a week. It's kind of a lot, actually, during the school year anyway. During the summer, though? Loooots of down time. That's what makes me parents anxious
And Chozon: Yeah, been there, done that XD

God, I pray that Chozon1 and me find jobs. And let us keep them. Help us to keep them.
In Jesus's Name,
Amen.
