Racial segregation in the church is a major issue. It's very rare to find a church with an even close-to-equal amount of white and black Christians, and some people even call Sunday "the most segregated day of the week". But some people(myself included) feel that God does not want it that way. Everyone is equal in the eyes of Christ, so, since we are called to be Christ-like, I think that in the church, we should have that same attitude. What is your opinion on this matter? Please post and tell me what you think.

We're mostly a white church but have families of other races. The key is making them feel welcome. All it takes is one jerk....
I think it is often the different style of services preferred that divide the two, on a cultural basis, you know? Also my town is whiter than sour cream, so, can't really blame us there

Live in Northville, do ya lad?
But seriously now, I don't think deliberate efforts are being made to segragate churches, do you? It's really just de jure segregation doing it's thing.
Besides, with black churches, who would ever leave?
