I can't hate Madeon. There's something about his music I love. I'm not exactly sure what it is, but I'm suddenly a fan of what I would have thought to be tacky and irritating music had I heard it some months ago.

Of course, it might be that his music technically quallifies as "dance", and not electro or dubstep.

It sounds like what you think of dubstep is mostly brostep. Where you have extremely heavy drops, and basically you would hear it at a frat party, hence BROstep.

Yes, that type of dubstep is quite annoying. However, if you want to find it, there's some gorgeous soft/semi-soft dubstep out there.

One of my favorites in the past month has been Seven Lions.
