I just fixed the red ring of death...

... I fixed it only using a zip tie and it only took about 3 minutes without even opening the case.
Who knows how long it will last though lol

Well never mind it didnt work that good. It works sometimes but sometimes it doesn't and i have to do it again. Lol oh well. Worth a try.

I took mine completely apart put screws instead. Heat gunned the entire board and pure new paste on the processor. Works perfectly!!!

I think im going to get one of the cheap repair kits off Amazon and try that. Did you get a kit or just bought the stuff separate?
