So yesterday

I was chewing on a pen, and generally treating it like a smoking pipe. I do that, since it helps me think. Even have a largish skull on the cap end to simulate the bowl. Perhaps one day I will discover some way to add a flavored inhalant. But that's just on my todo list, and not important.
What is important is that, when I missed placing it between my molars, I noticed it felt weird when it scraped along my back tooth. So I was like "Hmm wat is this" and reach my finger back and feel around. A portion of the tooth feels loose enough to fall off if I pulled hard, and there's a giant slice in it. Not to mention it feels odd.
So I'm like "...MOMMY" and run down the steps screaming "MOMMY MY TOOTH IS BROKEN".
Actually, I walked down the steps and was like "Hey mom, I think my tooth is broken. Mind looking?" See, I forgot the mirror across the hall in the bathroom. If I hadn't dropped my pipe, I guarantee I would not have. I also could have gotten Star to look, but she doesn't speak much English.
So she was like "Hmm...nope. Not broke. Just a huge cavity".
And I was like "Oh...
Uh...
"
So this is the story of how I ended up with a dental appointment in the unforeseen future and a gigantic hole in my tooth which I had not previously noticed somehow. I may have broken it open with the pen pipe. Who knows?
