We just got almost 2 inches in the last 24 hours in the MI area. Lord knows we needed it

went for a walk today (we're down to mid 80's instead of over 100 like the past couple of days) one of the marshes in our neighborhood is COMPLETELY dried up, nothing but dirt and cracks...scary dry here

Hmmm... Kansas is the only place I know that can have a flood and a drought at the same time.
(At least I heard Kansas had a flood and a drought at the some time last year.)

we got some rain but the grass around here is still pretty yellow..some people mowed their lawn after the rain...I have no idea why
