Hey guys, I just saw a movie that I felt I should talk about. This movie was based on a true story. WARNING SPOILER INVOLVES PARTS OF THE MOVIE! I am posting this as I want your guys opinions. Well let's get started!
Spoiler:
Ok so this mother killed 3 people during a exorcism. 20 years later, the daughter goes to the place her mother is being kept in Italy. With a cameraman. When she meets her mother, she shows signs of a demon in her. After this she goes to class of priests talking about exorcisms. From there she meets 2 priests who offer to help her. She then shows them footage she got from her meeting with her mother. They list out signs a demon's presence. The priests then take her to a live exorcism. Then they do a exorcism on her mother. They manage to get the demon out but since the demon was no average one but a beast, he jumped from the mother into one of the priest. They didnt know until the priest gave a baptisim to a child and he attempted to drown him. He leaves when police arrive. The police go to his home to arrest him and he manages to take a officers gun. He then kills himself. Then the demon jumps into the girl. They take her to a hospital. She then kills one of the paitients. They remaining priest and cameraman try to take her to[ the church. She then trys to attack the cameraman who is driving. The demon then jumps into the driver and he crashes the car. The movie ends there.
What I want to know is what do you think about this? Should they have made this public or kept it a private case? I do NOT recommend this movie due to language, blood, and actions performed. My opinion is this should be kept private! This case is getting exploited! This should be kept to police, the church, and families affected.

Based on 73 reviews by Rotten Tomatoes, the film currently holds an approval rating of 7% with the consensus stating "The Devil Inside is a cheap, choppy unscary mess, featuring one of the worst endings in recent memory."
Additionally, the audience reception was very negative.

I think the only reason there was bad reviews is because people expected a scary movie but in the end, it was terrible...

I'm not an expert on demon possession, but if the Spirit of God reigns in you, you can not be possessed.

The truth is that if that demon could jump into a priest and then into the girl and all over the place, then those people truly did not know the Lord. I'm not saying they were evil people, just not grounded to the Source of Life. Light and darkness can not exist in the same room. When you light a candle, you never see the light fleeing. It stands there boldly, forcing the darkness to cower.

As is with our Lord. If He (Jesus Christ) is truly your Lord, your King, your everything, then you have nothing to fear from demons. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are people sitting in churches that have demons. That is sadly where our church in America is at. I've heard of many stories in Africa where the church there have hard core exorcists who are basically godly people who have the essence of God flowing through them. Pretty crazy stuff, but it's our reality.

Lord grant us the grace and the boldness to be the light in the midst of Darkness. To cause it to cower by our mere presence for you are the light flowing out of these vessels. In Jesus Name!

Wow I didn't even think of moving it to movies. And also, all those people in the movies had some sin. The girl terminated her preganancy, the priest wanted the other dead, the other priest killed someone, and the camerman, well idk about him.

I for one don't care for all this darkness and demons and gore and possession business. Does it not say in God's inspired word:

"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is fair, whatever is pure, whatever is acceptable, whatever is commendable, if there is anything of excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy-keep thinking about these things." - Philippians 4:8
