Well, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. I'm hoping for it. And if they don't make it, then fine. Besides, companies can lie and keep secrets to build up hype. Even if they don't say it out loud.

Pretty sure Sega has learned their lesson with the first Dreamcast.

You do realize that the only reason why the Sega Dreamcast was a failure was because Sony stole it. They released the Playstation 2. It's just a remake of the PS One. Sega comes out with a Dreamcast. It's the very first game system with four player and online capability. It even played CDs.

Sony delays the PS2 release. Sega got it going on for the moment. Sony releases PlayStation 2 with ALL THE SAME FEATURES AS THE DREAMCAST WITH MINOR DIFFERENCES. Sega is blown out of the water.


The only reason Sega Dreamcast did not last long is because Sony took the idea and won everybody over.

So if you're gonna hope with me, at least talk about the Original Dreamcast and how cool it was at the time. Heck, I still have mine and it's in good working condition.

You could play with four people on the NES. Other systems had online before the Dreamcast, it's just that the Dreamcast could go online straight out of the box, and it was actually availible in the US. The PS2 played DVD's (much more useful).

There are waaaayyy more reasons why the Dreamcast failed. Also, I don't trust Youtubers who can't spell, and companies are constantly filing patents, even if they don't plan on selling the technology anytime soon. When there is sufficient evidence, I will believe. Until then, I'll be enjoying my Xbox 360.

I highly doubt Sega would name their new console "Dreamcast 2" instead of giving it a completely different name.

Still, even if it is most likely not happening it would be nice to see Sega back in the action. You have to admit their hardware was pretty cool back then. Can we at least talk about THAT?

Yeah. Like Jet Set Radio, Sonic Adventure 1 + 2 (DON'T HATE), They even had Guilty Gear and Marvel VS Capcom 2. Not to mention Sonic Shuffle.

I STILL HAVE MY DREAMCAST IN PERFECT WORKING CONDITION, BUT I SOMEHOW MYSTERIOUSLY LOST THE GAMES FOR IT!!!!!!

HAD IT SINCE I WAS A KID. IT WAS THE VERY FIRST GAME CONSOLE I EVER HAD. IF ONLY I COULD BUY GAMES FOR IT FOR A LOW PRICE WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD!!!!! I DON'T KNOW ANY GOOD SITES, THOUGH.......

NOT TO MENTION THE DREAMCAST MEMORY CARD ALLOWED YOU TO PLAY GAMES ON IT. IT DIDN'T JUST SAVE MEMORY FOR YOUR GAMES- THE MEMORY CARD ITSELF HAD IT'S OWN SET OF MINI GAMES ON IT (DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU SAVED ON IT.) IT HAD BUTTONS AND EVERYTHING. NAME ONE GAME SYSTEM BESIDES THE DREAMCAST THAT ALLOWED YOU TO DO THAT.
