Hey guys!
I'm new to the forums. I love the Lord with all my heart and trust in Him. It's been a little confusing lately. It seems that everything is against me. The reality of it is that He is for me no matter what but it seems that life can take some strange turns. My prayers of late have been 1. That the Lord mold me into a person who is grateful and content in all situations. I keep getting hit with the book of Exodus where the Israelites where not allowed to enter the promised land because they grumbled against God. Grumbling will keep me in a place where all I do is circle the same issues. 2. To trust in the Lord. I know I said I do trust in Him but I think this is a deeper trust. The kind of trust that David had when he stepped up to Goliath. The kind of trust that the prophets have when they have the words of God burning in them. The kind of trust where no matter what happens, no matter how hard or crazy, I am absolutely confident that the Lord has my back. Not shaken by emotion or circumstance. God is good, thanks!
