Some of them are on my bucket list.

Making that kind of list is a death wish; now let the flame war begin.

Well, I played all but four of those games,

-Chrono Trigger is a great game, though there are a few things I disliked.
One of the party members you get, and muti-endings. Though, I must say, Frog is an epic character. (That guy never leaves my party.)

-Super Metroid was an ok game, though I do like Metroid Prime a lot more.

...Wait where's Wind Walker?

Well, any ways point of my post is... I am not to sure why some people make "10 ten game best game ever" lists,
because it's really different with everyone.

This is my ideal list, except I wouldn't rate Tetris so high.

I played every single one of those games except for San Andreas. Never been a fan of GTA, to be honest.

Hmmm... I don't think I could say what my top 10 favorite games are,
it would need to be a top 30 or 40 games list.

I dunno. I think Skyward Sword is too young to be on that list XD

I don't think HL2, SotC, SS, or Tetris are top 10 all time.

I think someone's annoyed by lack of Halo.

The problem with lists like this isn't that they're subjective (because as much as I loved Red Steel, I'm willing to admit it wasn't a wonderful game and shouldn't be on a 'top ten of all time' list), but that they're made of young upstarts who play 'pop' games but are not masters of gaming history. This list entirely ignored classier classics than SNES games. Pong, for example, will probably always be considered one of the greatest games ever. Frogger too. Not to mention the scads of pen and paper RPG's hardcore nerds remember from the old, OLD comprooter days. Heck, even the OG Streetfighter arcade/

Surely those deserve a mention. Not just on age and importance either; there's stuff from those days that is still awesome.

Plus, I think Morrowind deserves a mention. >_>

And there's probably not a way to make a list like this without bias/hatin'/etc./lawl

My problem with these are it's usually old games that really aren't nearly as good as games today. I understand they're important and "classic" butstill.

Of all the games in the world, they chose Skyward Sword and Grand Theft Auto? Is it my imagination, or did they skip the Sega Genesis?

Honestly, the point of these lists is just to get us gamers up in a knot and reading it often.

This is my beef, a top 10 should involve the top ten games that influenced the gaming industry in a positive way. So let's start, shall we? Who wants to give a few for the first three?

Super Mario Bros. 3
Chrono Trigger
Super Mario 64

Those come to mind for increasing the standard.
