I'm working on a book

I’m working on a book to share my story of how I moved from being a gaming addict in high-school to where I am now, appreciating and playing games in a healthy way while worshiping and serving God.
I think if I can get it published it will be a huge step towards removing the bias that many Christians hold towards video games. It will also be a huge encouragement to gamers who struggle with gaming compulsion.
Here’s where I wrote more about it. What do you think? Do any of you have any experience in publishing?

I would be very interested in reading your story. There needs to be more Christian writing on video games. It's a (comparatively) new medium that not everybody understands. It's like how my Mother used to think rock music played backwards had evil sayings. People need to hear the truth, good, bad and ugly. We need to understand what it does to us without having to tolerate all the scare tactics other sources use.
BTW, I read the article about Halos and Avatars, fantastic.

Your book sounds like something I would love to read. I also had a pretty bad gaming addiction in my teens and it was quite the struggle to actually quit playing games as often as I did and start focusing on real matters. I also know a lot of parents would love to read a book like this and have a better understanding on how to deal with their kids who are going through this problem.
I wish you luck on getting this book published. I'll be sure to buy a copy or two!

Thank you, thank you! It's going to be very personal, perhaps moving, even. But also I want it to be practical and offer clear advice both for parents and for gamers.
Honestly, if this sounds like a good idea to you, you can help me increase the potential audience for the book. It's starting out small, but I'm not despising the days of small beginnings.
It would mean the world to me if you would follow this link and "like" my project on Facebook. Perhaps you could even invite your Christian gamer friends to like it too.
