Christ Centered Gamer

Good day!

My name is Duane. I'm new to the forum.

I'm a Christian and have been since 2005. I spent a lot of my adult life as an atheist, and now I am a volunteer in my church youth group, and I occasionally teach adult Sunday school classes in topics like Christian Phihlosophy and comparative religion.

I am also, of course, a gamer. Right now I am up to my eyeballs in League of Legends. I'm only an average player, but I really like the game. I can get a complete game in under an hour, which is nice when you have three kids. . I also play Star Wars:The Old Republic. I spent years playing WOW, and I still play City of Heroes from time to time.

I am very interested in the Minecraft sever because my kids love to explorer multiplayer servers. However, most of them do not have strict rules about things like language and I would really like them to have a safe server where they can create and explore.

Most important, though, is finding a community of gamers who share the values I hold most dear: the supremacy of Christ and glorifying his name.

Welcome Duane, we're glad you found us! I hope you enjoy the Minecraft server (after 3 more posts!) I just have a word of caution with kids sharing accounts, we have had to ban some accounts and when the account is shared that affects everyone using it. If your kids are on their best behavior it won't be a problem though. God bless!
