Christ Centered Gamer

Heroes of Might and Magic games have always been my favorite. I recently purchased The Might and Magic Universe from gog.com (good ol' games, their specialty is to sell games that are DRM free at cheap prices and make them runnable on today's operating systems). It contained: Heroes 1, 2, 3 complete, 4 complete, Might and Magic 6 LE containing 1-6, Might and Magic 7, might and magic 8, and Heroes Chronicles - All Chapters.

Do any of you gamers out there enjoy any of these games?

Used to play Heroes 3.

Got Heroes 5. The last expansion is much better. Over 100 different creatures.

For me, HoMM 3 will always be THE game of the series. HoMM 4 was bad in my opinion, HoMM 5 was just a russian 3D-remake of 3 in my opinion. If I started playing the series as somebody who hadn't played it before, I'd definitely start with #3. The fifth game would be ok too.

Never really played the actual Might & Magic series, with the exception of Dark Messiah of M&M, which I guess is a totally different game genre (action-RPG with Source engine).
