Being born in 80s made me miss most of 80s music when it was brand new, but I later discovered some bands that I digged big time... The Cure, to name one, still holds a dear place in my CD-rack especially with their early albums. Disintegration (released in 1989) is probably my favorite secular album ever.

While I do love the 80s and own an extensive music collection, I primarily listen to Christian music these days. But every now and then, I'll return to my favorite decade for music. So many great songs and reminds me of my teen years. Tears for Fears is my favorite band of the 80s.
Not ashamed to admit that I do own a Sixteen Candles DVD as well as other "Brat Pack" movies.
