Me and my dad are studying/reading the Torah, but we are learning it in Hebrew....trying to learn paleo Hebrew, ancient Hebrew and modern Hebrew. It is really hard, but we all do it together.

I'm currently reading Naked Lunch by William S. Burroughs (I'm not very far in, but man is this book graphic) and this weekend I'm gonna start re-reading On the Road by Kerouac.

Can you tell that I'm taking a class about Beat writers?

"After Rome" by Morgan Llewellyn. It's a novel set in (what's now called) Great Britain, just after the Romans abandon it due to the collapse of their own civilization. It's quite interesting, with some lively characters, and enough detail to make me feel that the author has done a lot of research into this material.

I [mostly] finished re-reading On the Road, finished Naked Lunch, which by the way, is by the far the craziest and most disturbing book that I've ever read, and I'm about ten chapters into The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe.

I'm currently reading four books (I have no life when there's no school):

The Art of War: Just started this last night and I read it in the wee hours of the morning. I think it's safe to say I'm going to read the entire thing pretty fast.

World War Z: Reading this with a group of friends. It's good so far but not sure how I like the writing style.

Killing Kennedy: Been waiting for my mom to finish it for so long and now I finally got my hands on it!!

Inheritance: Over half way through it. Good book so far.

Frank Herbert's Dune.
Christopher Hitchen's Arguably.
Thomas C. Foster's How to Read Literature Like a Professor.
Lawrence Krauss' Hiding in the Mirror.
Dinosaur Fantastic

Like airpa, I'm also a multi-book reader. I generally can pick up easily where I left off, and I cycle through depending on the mood of what I want to read. I like having at least one novel, one science text, and perhaps one short story collection.
