I have seen parts of that, but I don't know if I have actually sat down and watched it from beginning to end. I want to, I just never have time.

Well, you owe it to yourself. It's great. Phenomenal. Amazing. Goodtastic.

I saw The Illusionist two and a half times in the space of five days. It was in a foreign language, so I didn't quite understand everything, but the basics of the story could be understood just by watching (kinda like my first time watching Robots: watched it without hearing any audio, and understood almost the entire story). The romance was dumb, I thought, but I liked the special effects for the magic/illusions/whatever they were. And I was cheering Paul Giamatti (sp?) all the way ^_^
I also saw The Emperor's New Groove for the umpteenth time. That movie never really gets old, I've discovered. Still sweet, still holds the magic Disney
used to have
Then I saw a tiny bit of a potentially-good movie I still have to look up. It's got Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones in it, so it must be good, right? XP
And to join in on the discussion about Hitchcock, I totally agree with what's been said. His movies are amazing! I really like his Alfred Hitchcock Presents, especially because several of them are based on short stories by Roald Dahl (my favorite short story writer). My favorite Alfred Hitchcock Presents are Man from the South and Bang! You're Dead. And my favorite full-length Hitchcock movies are The Man Who Knew Too Much and Vertigo. Rear Window was an extremely interesting movie, and I greatly enjoyed how unconventional and abstract it was.
Suffice it to say, I'm a Hitchcock fan ^_^

yeah, I agree, Hitchcock is the best mystery writer around.

I just saw the Emperor's New Groove and no it doesn't get old...though I hadn't seen it in quite some time.
The Harrison Ford/Tommy Lee Jones movie is probably The Fugitive.
As for Hitchcock, my parents think he is the spawn of Satan so I have never seen any of his movies.

The Fugitive is probably one of my favorite movies.
Why do they think that about Hitchcock?

I'm hazarding a guess here, but I think it's probably because of all the dark/bad movies he made.
I watched the beginning of Bob the Butler.

Butler Droopy, not builder.
And I am going to hazard another guess that you have never seen the unedited version of Psycho? I love his movies, and most directors cannot come close to him nowadays, but even I'll admit some of his stuff is...On the fringe...

Now, are you talking about the new version of Psycho or the old one? 'Cause I don't recall an "unedited version".

Actually, the original version of psycho was rated R for nudity, now all you see is the PG-13 version. Unless they re-rated it later it was edited.

They say his parents left him alone at night and so he became demon-possessed or something like that...I don't remember.

I don't know, man. I've seen the original version of the movie, and I don't recall any nudity. The only version that I know has some nudity was the remake, and I've never seen that...

I just watched Dreamcatcher. It had some interesting concepts, and some ideas were really cool, but even for a Stephen King adaptation it was really bizarre. Probably one of the weirdest movies I have ever seen.
The movie changed the ending of the book. Made me mad.

I feel sorry for you. No Hitchcock is like a hole in your movie-watching experience! XD
