I don't usually buy disk CD's, but I do buy albums on iTunes. My latest purchase is Revelation by Third Day.

I don't really by CD's either. There is no use for it to me. Because almost everthing is on the internet now.

I will always prefer the satisfaction of holding the physical copy of a CD over downloading digitally any day.
The last CDs that I bought include:
The Carpenter - The Avett Brothers
Monster Monster - The Almost
Sounds of Silence - Simon and Garfunkel
Vitalogy - Pearl Jam
Wanna Do the Wild Plastic Brane Love Thing? - The Stabilisers
All for pretty cheap too.

The deuce. Though admittedly, I often find myself torn since digicopies are often cheaper.

Bill Monroe ...
I gave some big collection CD as a gift.
I remember my older sisters talking about him as a kid and it was very confusing.
It was the late 60's,.. How could teenage girls who like the Beatles also like some old guy ?
They explained he was the father of Blue Grass, which wasn't (exactly) Country Music,
and I was even more confused.
So they baffled me further with talk of instruments like the mandolin and dulcimer.
If only they had a recording of him singing way up high - lol.
But as an adult I too have come to love his work.
Simple, often Christian lyrics. Nimble and clever tunes.
My friend Brian says he took little personal credit.
Says he said he just pulled the songs out of the air (from God).
Wow, okay. What a Gift.
