Well... I wasn't sure if I should.
You know... for posterity.

If you died, could your admin powers bring you back to life?

No... the separation of the internet and real life would not allow me to spawn again. Sad, eh?

Yes, very sad indeed.
What age would you recommend Mass Effect to?

Hmmm... technically, it's not really worse than a PG13 movie in content... but I'd say, because of themes, 16 and up.

Is it actually possible to avoid everything save violence?

In Mass Effect?
It's absolutely possible. Any romance subplots are the result of you speaking to one of two characters, depending on your sex. As a male, you can speak to Ashley and Liara. As a female, you can speak to Kaiden and Liara. If you don't, you miss out on an achievement, but you avoid sexuality.
Language is a little more tricky, because there is some bad language in the game, but it's really not anything that you won't see in a PG13 movie.
So yeah. It's possible.
And, um... if that wasn't what you were asking... I'm sorry. Clarify, if that's the case.

My favorite author? hmmm. Toughie.
I don't think I have a single favorite author. I have authors that have influenced me to no end, and authors that I admire, so I'll list some of those and some of the novels that really influenced or impressed me.
Stephen King--The Stand, It, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon
Oscar Wilde--The Picture of Dorian Gray
John Steinbeck--East of Eden
Neil Gaiman--American Gods, Fragile Things
William Gibson--Neuromancer
Philip K. Dick--Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, The Man in the High Castle
Cormac McCarthy--The Road, All the Pretty Horses
Neal Stephenson--Quicksilver
Michael Connelly--The Poet, Blood Work, The Concrete Blonde, Trunk Music
Chuck Palahniuk--Fight Club
Umberto Eco--The Name of the Rose
There have been others, to be sure, but those are the main ones.

Do you think The Elder Scrolls has a chance of redeeming its self, with a new game, in your eyes?

Redeeming itself? As if TESIV didn't rock.
