When you choose to make your speech overtly poetic. Or those moments in life when you are struck with the urge to speak poetry.

Favorite Christmas song, and rendition of said song?

Ah. I don't do that very often, but I guess I can understand it.

My favorite Christmas song would have to be Carol of the Bells done by the Trans Siberian Orchestra.

That's an epic one. TSO is one of my favorite Christmas-related musics. <3 I could not actually say I know of a better version of Carol of the Bells, either.

Worst Christmas song ever?

I can't think of one. I don't know that I've heard a Christmas song I don't like and if I have, then I have blocked it out of my memory all together.

Not even "Last Christmas?"

Or Same Old Lang syne?

I mean granted, it's not a buzzsaw to the ear, but...

I think "Last Christmas" might have been one of those that I blocked out, or just forgot after not hearing it for a long time. I haven't heard Same Old Lang Syne before now, but it's not so bad. In general, I find it hard to dislike music for some reason. Even the songs that I don't like end up being my favorite at some point. There are some songs that I will never like though, and that's after my sisters sing them every day for three months.

Maybe that's my problem with both of those songs...

That's cool, though. There are some songs I genuinely don't like, but it's usually the lyrics that get to me. When I don't like a song, it's like someone is poking me in the ear, though. -_-

And the night and the dream as it cuts through the noise,
with the whisper of snow as it starts to deploy,
in the depths of a night that's about to begin,
with the feeling of snow as it melts on your skin?

And it covers the land, with a dream so intense,
that it returns us all to a child's innocence,
and then what you thought lost, and could never retrieve,
was suddenly there to be found on Christmas Eve?

I like it. Sounds like Christmas.

More TSO. "The Lost Christmas Eve".

There really is just something magical about Christmas?

I would have to agree. I don't know if you get on reddit much, but there's been a lot of "reddit miracles" this Christmas season. For example, there was one little girl who was severely burned in a house fire and all she wanted for Christmas was Christmas cards. The problem was, they didn't know many people. So, a bunch of redditors decided to flood her mailbox with Christmas cards and she was thrilled.

I don't, but the story was on Facebook too. It was amazing.

One of my favorite Christmas activities. It's fun to bring a box big enough for me to fit in (translates to really big) and but something tiny inside of it.

It can be fun to wrap things in such a way that no one will ever guess what it is. Or better yet think it's something else.

That is one of my favorite traditions; so far, I've done the pan thing for my sister, and managed to cram a T-shirt into a 3 inch by 5 inch necklace box. I really can't wait for my dad to open that one.

Banjo's?
