i was told it was good, so I borrowed a copy and will commence reading it later. I'll probably post some first impressions tommorow.

I finished A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier by Ishmael Beah a while ago. Everybody should read it! It's, like, my favorite book.

I just finished Everlost by Neal Shusterman. Really, really good book. Really creative, too.

I'm going to read The Westing Game, Twilight, and A Long Way Gone (again) in the future. After I finish Twilight, I'll be going on in the series and reading New Moon and Eclipse.

The Westing Game is a modern (sort of) classic, I loved it.

Right now I'm almost finished reading The Ribbajack by Brian Jacques though I'm not liking it too much. I'm also reading The Ruby in the Smoke by Phillip Pullman.

I just bought book 2 of the Malazan Books of the Fallen by Stephen Erikson to read over my fall break. Good stuff.

Time to finally get around to my notes on Firfish (They aren't first impressins because I finished it a few weeks ago ) Anywaay, it was a really good book, 1 of 3 in a series, about high seas adventure and terror old school yo. It was kind of hard to get into, just because of the main characters anmes, but you quickly get used to them. I recommend it. Full of Pirates, romance and violance with a purpose. My kind of book.

Did I mention it's also christian?

The book I am currently reading is: Sober Justice.

I'm still working on The Name of the Rose. I just haven't had the time to read it, and when I do, I'm too tired. ...That makes me sad.

I haven't really read a published work besides my schoolwork lately, makes me kind of frustrated and depressed cause reading used to be a big part of my life. Anyway, I'm working on catching up w/ my friend's story for him, I find it pretty good I hope he gets it published eventually.

Okay, so I finished The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin, and... Well, schucky darn, I love that book! It's in my top ten! It had me sucked in right from the start, and it made me laugh out loud more than once.

Another book I read was Everlost by Neal Shusterman. That. Is. An. Amazing. Book. Really, really creative. Top ten, too.

Last but not least, I read Milkweed by Jerry Spinelli. Again, it made it into my top ten.

Three amazing books... I highly recommend them.

I'm reading The Hobbit right now, and next I'm going to read either The Dark Light or The Wall and the Wing.

Shadow of The Giant for the 1000th time. Also I hear the Ender's Game movie has gone back into pre-production. Can't wait to see that.

I am reading "The Lord of the Rings" for the millionth time.

Reading a few books right now:

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown-very interesting right off the bat. I haven't gotten very far though...

The Ruby in the Smoke by Phillip Pullman-I absolutely loved the guy's writing style in His Dark Materials trilogy, and I love it here.

Books I'm about to read:

Safely Home by Randy Alcorn-Mom and Dad both said it was one of the best books they'd ever read so we'll see if that applies to me.

Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry-Loved The Giver, and I'm hoping this one will be as interesting.

Right now I am reading Tears of a Dragon.

It's one of the better books I have ever read.

Later though, I plan to start Markheim, and the body Snatcher.

Btw CAHF, The Westing Game is one of my favorite books.
Must have checked that out of the liberry at least ten times...
