I am actually learning JavaScript through a site called Codecademy. I am loving JavaScript because it's not nearly as hard as it looks (not yet at least). They mostly teach scripting languages like JavaScript, HTML and Python. That's not the only things they teach though. You could also look at code.org for some other courses.
