Kagor is confused. And lost. And possibly oblivious. Where did Crimson go? Where is Guy going? Just to be safe, he draws his warhammer and readies his shield.

Here's the spells I've learned for the day: ((Assuming I did it right...please correct me if I'm wrong.))
Level 1:
1+2). Summon Monster I ((Do you need me to specify which now, or is that decided at casting time?))
Level 0:
1+2). Acid Splash
3). Ray of Frost
Minather, not being the most physically strapping of the group, elects to stay behind. While the chaos continues, he looks at the cart and the surrounding wreckage further and pokes around to see if there's anything important in there. ((If I need to use a spot check, I've included it below))

Kratimos sees the confused look on Kagor's face.
"Maybe it's the wine, but I'm in the same boat with you."
Kratimos draws his two swords and stands ready.

((There is a lot of spoiler tags and I have no idea what's going on. Did TS kill the creature or do we still have to fight it?))

((To clairify. There are (were) two creatures. One pursuing TS and one that the group just encountered. The creature has it's back to you. You all have a surprise round to attack it before it can do anything. Everyone either rolls an attack roll or chooses to do something. Being in combat is not the same as being out. It's very rigid and turn based with little room for extras apart form what you choose to do. For example, right now you can choose to fight or look around and check things out but you can't do both. If you choose one or the other, you must make the appropriate rolls because in game, it's all fasted paced though it takes a while to play out on the forums. TS's encounter with the creature lasted 4 or 5 posts but in game was all of 12 to 18 seconds. Each round is 6 seconds in game. Crimson you went after TS and are away from the combat, your turn for this round is spent. Talking is free (doesn't cost an action) within reason. If you say "Hey, who are you?" and they say "I'll explain later," that's fine. If they start reciting an epic ballad, then it becomes a problem.))

The Scene
The group is 15 feet away from the creature which is directly in front of them. The creature is haunched over on the ground eating what only can be discribed as the remains of the humanoids. Upon approaching, Guy yelled in rage and charged forward at the creature. Crimson cut left to see what was going on only to find Brokan making the killing blow on the creature.

Everyone Can View
Spoiler:

Guy-From you, I need an attack roll.
Crimson-You spend your move action so you can not move until your next turn.
Minather-You spent your turn doing a spot check.
Kagor-Attack or otherwise?
Kratimos-Attack or otherwise?
Brokan-You are moving forward to join the fray. I'm assuming you're moving at double time (full round action)?

Brokan keeps running in the direction of the the noise he heard ((Guy)), screaming at the top of his lungs and waving his scimitar in the air.

edit: yes, running to join the fray at full speed.

edit2: I just want to make sure I keep track of how many turns I've been raging. Here's how I understand my turns since beginning my rage to work out

Turn 1: moved about 20 ft and decapitated monster
Turn 2: retrieve spear (move action) and sheath spear (move action)
Turn 3: full round run toward the battle on the trail

I should have 4 rounds of rage left. I don't know how this lines up with the turns on the combat on the trail.
Brokan Mok

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek . . . to be understood, as to understand.

Muscle memory is a wonderful thing, and Guy's arm has done this thousands of times, arcing his blade in a vicious swing toward the beast.

[dice]0[/dice]

...but unfortunately a practice dummy and a real target aren't even remotely similar...

((you know, as I submitted that and was waiting for the page refresh, I thought to myself. "Watch... I'm totally gonna roll a freaking 1." I should play the lottery...))

Kratimos mind snaps into reality. Confusion, the shouts in the forest, CrimsonBlade running off... those will have to wait. All there is now is the creature and the party. His swords drawn, he rushes into battle and attacks with both swords. The longsword swings across followed shortly by a stab from the short sword.

Attack Roll:

((Everything looks great. This round does not require initiative but that initiative can count for the next round. When you guys do an attack roll, please phrase it like this

Attack roll-Longsword

That way I know what weapon you are fighting with.

ArchAngel-Did you factor the -2 per attack for using two weapons? If not, I'll just take two off your total attck roll. Even with the feats, there is still a penalty for attacking. ))

Guy is overwhelmed with emotion at the sight of such a blasphemy against nature itself, in a fit of fury guy swings at the creature only to have his sword miss the mark. Kagor is soon at his side and the creature is greeted with the sound of it's ribs breaking under the weight of his hammer. Kratimos joins the fray. With his longsword he gashes the creatures side open, opposite of the ribs Kagor broke. With his opposite hand, he swings and the creature barely escapes another wound.

Brokan is retrieving his spear (as per your previous post)
Crimson is on her way to the fray.
Minather is inspecting the cart.

Minather
Spoiler:
All you see is a wood cart turned over and the small bodies of those who were operating it on the ground.
End Surprise Round
