Ghost Rider - Ha, I saw it twice in two days. I didn't plan on it. It just kind of happened. It was pretty good, though. I was pretty tense watching it the first time. I didn't expect a couple of those demons to jump at the screen. With that being said, some of you will probably want to look into the religious content before watching it.

I had a history teacher who considered Holy Grail to be the most accurate IQ test known to man.

V for Vendetta - I decided to watch it again after reading the graphic novel on which the movie is based. It's interesting to see the changes made, particularly to the character of V. (In the movie he's portrayed as a freedom-fighting hero, whereas in the comic he was more of a anarchistic-minded terrorist.)

Sleuth - Another re-watch for me. Most mystery/suspense thrillers lose a lot of their charm on repeated viewings, and I wanted to see if this film which was absolutely brilliant the first time around could hold up if you already knew the plot. The initial excitement of following the storyline as it unfolds is naturally diminished, but I was in awe of just how subtly the mystery was concocted. Once you know to look for them, the hints, clues, and foreshadowing are rife throughout the picture. As a result I'd say this movie passes an important criteria for being considered an all-time classic. (The film holds up well -- perhaps even gets a bit better -- with repeated viewings.)

Liking Lady in the Water is okay... I myself didn't care for it, but I can see why others might like it. Saying it was perfect is an entirely different matter.

Clerks - I still maintain that it is Kevin Smith's best movie (amateur acting aside) and each of his subsequent films have gotten progressively worse. (Though Mallrats and Chasing Amy were still very good.)

I'm with you, Darth. I didn't really understand the apparent hilarity of the Holy Grail. I did enjoy Lady in the Water, although I wouldn't go so far as to call it perfect.

I just watched Yours, Mine, & Ours (the remake). It was a pretty good family movie. It was funny/cool to see Hawk Nelson perform in it.

I like Lady in the Water too, but it was no where NEAR perfect.

New Police Story (With Jackie Chan)

Dubbing was terrible, but the action and effects were cool.

Although someparts were freakeshly violent and disturbing.

For example, a special forces police squad invade the bad guy's "lair" (which is really a human video game) and almost all of the cops are killed in grusome ways, i.e. shot, hung, dropped from high places onto a metal floor, etc.

But, it had a great ending.

HouseSitter. That was...Hilarious. A marriage based entirely off of lies.
