Ouch. XD There were two/three guys on my team in Paragon the other night that played assassins and literally ran around the map attacking only the other heroes. O_o I don't even want to know their death count, but we got totally wiped in half an hour...like...everything was dead. XD All three inhibitors. The other team was just toying with us.
I have also seen the light regarding the card system. Now that I understand the depth of strategy and customization it adds to the game, I recant of my earlier complaints.
French bread pizza?

Wow. Just wow. I haven't run into that in Paragon, just people disconnecting.Chozon1 wrote: Tue Mar 07, 2017 6:29 am Ouch. Yeah, the cards are great aren't they? There's so many too! Just keep playing to get more card packs and you can actually start to get somewhere, like insane damage or life boost.
I love french bread pizza, my mom makes it every now and then. Usually she makes us our own mini personal pizzas with this really good and thick crust, sooooo gooood.

I want movement speed cards...I don't know if they exist, but that would make Sparrow infinitely better. I'm actually debating whether or not to use a blink card, because she has no way to escape and until the very late game cannot even kinda hope to survive an all out fight. Five CP though...
I haven't made pizza in awhile...need to get on that, because it sounds delicious. <3
That one player that is just so incredibly skilled that even when he owns you for the fifteenth time, you can't help but be awed?

There aren't movement speed cards but there is a good selection of movement items, like blink. There's one where you can teleport to any ally tower that's still standing. It's way better than blink. Blink only moves you like 10 meters.
Those types of players start to disappear when you learn more, I do know what you mean though.

Well, poops. Sparrow would likely become OP with that, though. And dear sweet monkey fudge, I don't even want to think about a faster Khaimera...I have the tower teleport card, but I didn't check whether it's instant effect or not. If it is, then I would totally use that one instead. My problem is that the current build I'm using of Sparrow requires that I forego mana potions and wards to get an early power boost, which leaves me wide open to unexpected jungle ganks (especially from cloaked heroes). The theory is that the blink card will, if I activate it in time, allow me to escape the first strike, which is usually a debuff.
But that five CP means that I have to sacrifice something else, and unless an assassin just gets ridiculously fed, I might be better off just buying a ward. I'll have to look at the upgradeable ward and see if I can switch out one of my other attack cards for it...Bah. I'm addicted. O_o Not only does Paragon have everything I want in a MOBA, the communication aspect filters out a lot of the turdy people, so I basically love it. <3
Bad food that you eat anyway?

Typically I use health and mana potions. I equip 1 upgrade-able ward and then I choose either a utility like warp or a 2nd upgrade-able ward, just for the extra damage (which is COMPLETELY game changing).
The community in paragon is pretty great, except for the people who say to defend a lane and continue to fight the giant bosses and die trying.
I typically stay away from bad foods, unless I'm trying them to see if I like them.

I made tuna fish for supper, and didn't really have any alternative but to eat it...it was bad. Had all manner of intestinal distress for the rest of the night.
Currently, my Sparrow build is glass cannon. It's almost solely attack and crit increase, with a few speed buffs (and the Sage's ward. You're right; it's pretty much indispensable). The final card is double crit damage and power or lifesteal...I'm almost useless early game, but when I get the build finished I can pop most opposing heroes in 3-6 shots, with a bit of luck. Which is ridiculously fun, as the people who chased me for most of the game are now running. >_>
How do you feel about surrendering?

So I misunderstood bad foods, and no, I won't eat them ever.
Your Sparrow is pretty good, you do what the game recommends. I'd try a full attack and attack speed. Sparrow on attack speed is like Hanzo level stuff, especially if you hit all of your abilities. Also after I get my utilities bought, not upgraded, I go straight for the most powerful cards, it makes you top tier in the game for a good 5-10 minutes.
I'd surrender under certain circumstances. If it's not life threatening I probably won't unless I know that I really get the benefit. If it's life threatening I might unless It's a Muslim trying to convert me.

I meant like...in game surrendering. O_o Courageous answer, though.
I tried speedy shot Sparrow, and could never get it to work. Either I missed too frequently, or people escaped before I could land the final few shots. I much prefer switching out my speed buffs for power, and especially critical hits. The double crit damage card just pulls huge chunks of health off.
King cake?

Oh in game surrender... Still don't at least in Overwatch. Killing yourself if you need to stops the enemy from building their abilities.
When I play sparrow I use a high attack, high health steal, and a little bit of attack speed. That seems to do the trick for me, just takes up a lot of card points.
I have never had one. It looks really good though, almost like pumpkin bread but bigger and not pumpkin flavor.

Yeah, the deck I use maxes out the 60 CP. It's very all or nothing, and if my team feeds then the match is very hard to come back to...

I usually have about 10 cp points I can use, I always max out on cards before I can use all my cp.

I followed another dudes build, and then tailored it to my own flavors. He must have done the math, and by some miracle I followed it, because by the time I have all my equipment upgraded I've used all 60. Rare is the match in which that happens, though. When it does...Sparrow can own pretty much every other hero, sometimes more than one at a time. <3 Which is ridiculously entertaining, until I get munched. XD
Speaking of, have you tried out Yin yet?

With twinblast you can do the same thing, except he does more base damage I think. He shoots insanely slow though.
I haven't played with Yin yet, I might not ever play the heroes that look sort of... meh.

I like her, but I don't think I would ever try and use her as a primary hero. I'm not sure about her weaponry; on the one hand, it reminds me of Vampire Killer, from Castlevania.
On the other...the reach is sorta half-way between ranged and melee, but Yin is kinda fragile, so I'm not sure she benefits? I think in the right hands though, she will be terrifying. Her ult basically say's 'no u' to ranged heroes, and invites melee heroes to their doom. I haven't played against anyone who has taken her to ridiculous levels yet...
Mello Yello?
