I've been binging on TCM tonight...

Tommy: Yikes. I guess I should have been expecting surrealism from a rock opera after seeing The Wall, but I'm not sure it's possible to prepare yourself for Ann Margaret rolling around in a mess of baked beans. On the other hand Pinball Wizard is a great song and it's impossible not to crack up upon seeing Elton John's costume.

Sleuth: I can't believe I hadn't seen this movie before. Caine and Olivier turn in two of the best performances I've ever seen, the score was hauntingly mesmerizing, and the plot has more twists and turns than a Six Flags roller coaster. It's too early to say this with any certainty, but easily rate it as one of the five-best non-comedies I've ever seen.

Next up, one bad mutha... I'm just talkin' about Shaft. Can you dig it?

ccgr, I sincerely doubt our government would blow up the twin towers and not only that, but be able to cover it up. In fact, I'm positive they are too inept for such a thing. ;)

Murder 101: College can be murder.... the first one was better - but it's still a pretty funny movie.

Last movie I watched was Sleepy Hollow. My roommate and I watched it at three this morning, for no really good reason. It was cool, and I liked some of the special effects a lot, but some of it was obviously gross just for the sake of being nasty, and didn't have anything to do with the plot. Welcome to the realm of horror movies, Saker...

Goodbye to the realm of horror movies, Lazarus...

I dunno where the appeal is anyway - but then I was never one for wanting to get scared, frightened, horrified, spooked, or terrorized - especially by a movie with some parts having nothing to do with the plot! :o

...wait - I think I saw Sleepy Hollow once. With the Headless Horseman, right?
Wow... that movie was so dumb. Just like the book. 8O

Cheryl, I like you, so I'll make you a deal. I'll watch the durned video if you can give me one good reason why our government would destroy its own economy. And for that matter, why would they kill 2000+ innocent civilians and blame it on Bin Laden and not kill the guy who made the movie exposing them?

thanks James I like you too. A couple quick reasons, did you noticed how quickly the patriot act passed after all this? And of course, there's always war where there's oil.
