Silence of your thoughts is a blessing?

I had an AlienWare laptop that had a terrible tendency to do that. Bah.

My parents lappy, at least when doing anything more than lightweight applications, overheats enough to make it uncomfortable to hold your hand near the exhaust port, and you can feel the heat through the keyboard. O_O

Due to over estimating the shortness of ripening time, I've never managed to eat savory plantains. XD Looks good though.

Banana flavored ice cream?

Lots of Liferay portlets, I see. I'm about to start a project here at my university that requires me to make a Liferay portlet. Any tips for a newbie to Liferay?

Also, since you shared yours, here's mine. Don't judge it too harshly, I'm just a senior undergrad student. :P

Liferay has a steep initial learning curve until you find your groove, then it all becomes child's play. My advice is to take the time to make yourself understand how things interact in Liferay. Everything else falls into place nicely after that. I created a blog to help people who are new to it and have trouble finding good tutorials online for stuff.

Is the code in your Github for school?

If you mean that all of my code is homework assignments, then yes. I'm trying to do some independent work, but my sense of perfectionism makes it rather hard. :P

Is having that enough for the time being (Since I'm entry level and all), or should I really put work into making independent applications?
