Best...movie...I've ever...seen... I don't care what you guys say, I loved it. By far my favorite movie (even moer than POTC ((though I still love POTC)))

Well, I might have thought the same about Th3re and Kevin's role playing world... until I read the book.
Kids have violent minds, you know. I found an old story I'd written the other day(I wrote it about 8 years ago). At the end of it, the two characters were tied, gagged, and executed by a ghost. And I was like 7.
I cannot imagine what I was thinking at the time. 8O But it just shows that kids are violent.

I heard Pan's Labyrinth was violent, but I'm still interested in it. (My mom would go ballistic if she knew, though.)
And Laz, I've written stories with endings along those lines-hopefully much more sophisticated, but the people died anyway.

Humans are obsessed with violence and death. (And unfortunately, we cause most of it. )
Some Christians try to avoid violent movies(like your mom, apparently). Are they wrong?

X-3: The Last Stand, and then The Terminal. I think I liked The Terminal more, just because it was so well written. X-3 was good, but it coulda have been better. I wanted Sentinals! o.o

Bridge to Terabithia
I fought back tears the whole time after three fourths of the movie... Seriously... It's so doggone sad, man! The only movie that made me as sad as it did that I really like...

Logan's Run. Not a bad movie, but I was expecting something a little better from a film that's widely regarded as a Sci-Fi classic. Then again, it probably didn't help that I'd already seen several movies with the same general premise/setting, such as THX-1138 and The Island. At least the costume design was top-notch, though.
On a semi-related note I was astounded to learn that this movie only received a PG rating back when it was made in 1976. It certainly wasn't shy about flaunting the interesting bits of its cast's anatomy, with at least a few scenes that included full nudity. If such a movie were made today it would almost certainly get an R rating no matter what other redeeming qualities it had. I guess it goes to show you how prudish our society has become in recent times.
