Fun to find and (maybe) remember what I used to do with them.

My daughter just picked up Pokemon Black the other day, and she's totally geeking out about it.

I generally like Water type Pokemon, but my favorite is actually Gengar (Ghost/Poison). I find Gengar extremely annoying to fight against which is why I usually like to have him on my team.Sstavix wrote:My daughter just picked up Pokemon Black the other day, and she's totally geeking out about it.![]()

Pokemon X is pretty great. It was my first Pokemon game, but it definitely won't be my last.Chozon1 wrote:I totally forgot; I have Pokemon X. It's amazing.

I want to get Sapphire now. I think I put around 30-40 hours into X . I was slightly disappointed with Xerneas as the token legendary, though.
I liked the starters quite a bit. ^_^

Maybe I just play way too much, but before I reset my copy of X, I had around 70 hours in it. After resetting it I think I have around 60. I think I got most of my hours from hunting for the Megastones. If I'm not mistaken, Xerneas can defeat Yveltal pretty easily just because of its types. Sapphire is worth getting since you can get tons of legendaries and none of them are shiny-locked.Chozon1 wrote:I want to get Sapphire now. I think I put around 30-40 hours into X . I wouldn't say you play too much (unless you logged those 70 hours in 4 days or so. O_O). The main reason I stopped playing was that I became the pokemon champion, and was given both Puzzles and Dragons and Destiny for my birthday. So it was a matter of timing.
Plus, I logged that 34 hours in...I dunno...two weeks? XD I need to pick it back up and explore the online options. I mostly ignored them.
I've also heard that the Sapphire/Ruby games have a lot of post-game content. I sort of need a story to help me keep playing a game.

Not too hard if it's from Ikea. Could be fun to try to build furniture from scratch.Chozon1 wrote:I wouldn't say you play too much (unless you logged those 70 hours in 4 days or so. O_O). Since I've only started listening relatively recently, I have only listened to and bought the latest 3 albums. I really like True Defiance and I like a few songs in The World is a Thorn, but Extremist is my favorite overall.Chozon1 wrote:I have. It is. I do like True Defiance. Many a driving days have been spent caterwauling to "Tomorrow Never Comes" and "Dead Flowers".
...Huh. Apparently I'm an emo kid and didn't know it.
