I played the very first one on the PlayStation years ago.

I wasn't terribly impressed with the movement mechanics, but it was cool.

Also, my disc must have been scratched because the audio didn't work correctly.

Yeah. Moving like a tank takes a while to get used to. I never quite get used to gun play though.

Your audio wasn't messed up. The zombies really do sound like someone saying "grrr". :D

I should buy an inflatable raft?

No, I mean the voices for the opening cutscene were garbled, as was every other voice in the game.

The zombies didn't sound like a record on highspeed. :lol:

It depends.

Does it flood where you live, or do you intend to go boating in it?

Then I wouldn't recommend a inflatable raft.

Not unless you can actually use on water.

Not recommended.

Inflatable rafts are very unstable.

Not that I recall.......

They might have been in the water if you fell into it, but I really don't know.

Too many bad memories from HL1 kept me out of the water. XD
