I love to play chess. When I was very young, I would go over to my grandparents' house and I would play chess with my grandfather, who I am still convinced is one of the best chess players I've ever known. He and my dad actually taught me how to play chess when I was like five years old. Needless to say, I was not very good then and I thought that getting to move horses and castle towers around a checker board was awesome. Sadly, he died a few years ago so I didn't play chess until I started taking outsourced classes for school. So now, I play chess in the chess club where I take classes. Do you play on Chess with Friends? If so, I'd love to play you sometime. I'm always looking to improve my game.BlockHeadLewie wrote:Funny story: I've played chess for about 30ish years now. I'm not too bad actually but I know there's TONS of room for improvement. I've played against computers mostly, then got an app for my phone where I can play actual people around the world. I've even tried 3D chess.Emwok wrote:Chess?
The punchline to this story? I haven't played no more than maybe 20 games on an actual board!
(Sux not to have real friends. Oh well...)
