ok so I just got that pistol from speed is it still 1d20 for attack and 1d4+3 for damage?

Right, I should totally tell you the stats. Sorry!
You do a 1d20+DEX for your attack roll (and +2 at melee range) , and the damage is 1d8 (critical hits are x3 damage).

Well, you're not pistol whipping, you just get an extra +2 when firing at a person in melee range.

Yeah I caught that. I meant when I am pistol whipping. Not much ammo to be had.

Cool, I was hoping that not too many of you guys lost interest.
Because if someone did, I'll just have them pulled apart by zombies.
Also, some apologies. I'm making some modifications to the rules that I'm hoping with both simplify it, but also make it a bit more fair. I don't like changing the rules during play, but I think this will help improve gameplay.
You guys don't have to worry about any drastic changes on your end, it's mostly on how I'm operating the zombies and I'll let you guys know what sort of saving rolls or what not you'll need to make.
In fact, I'll be giving you guys a choice to make when you have been grabbed by a zombie. Hoping that adds a little more strategy to the equation instead of just rote dice rolls I tell you to make.

ok sounds good im up for killing zombies when ever you guys are.
(I was re-reading the old topic and how did I get a pistol? I thought speed gave one to me but I couldn't find the post)
