MoO 2: Love it. One of my favorite games.
Disciples 2: Love it.
FF 3/6: Never played any FF.
Civ 2: Love it, although I prefer 4 and 5.
Doom 3: played only a little, looking forward to trying it with the Oculus Rift.
Thief 1 & 2 (3 was a serious letdown): Never tried it, I'll stay away from 3. (3rd syndrome?)
Dishonored (both routes, it seems a seminal work to me): Haven't tried it yet.
Terraria: Haven't tried it.
Minecraft (yes both, they're very different in more than just visual fidelity): Have it, played very little.
Legend of Grimrock: Have it, have yet to try it.
Rez: Haven't tried it.
Penumbra (or Amnesia, but Penumbra worked better for me): Have amensia, and haven't yet tried penumbra.
Hero's Quest (Quest for Glory) 1&2 (the original CLI; none of this fancy mouse interface business!): Some great memories. I remember having to type in all my commands.
Is this thing on...

Prioritize Thief, if you can get it to work with Rift that'd probably be 9 kinds of awesome (it's a mission based 1st person sneaker). I don't think it's 3rd syndrome, but it might be. In short, it got thrown to a different studio and they completely changed the format to a hub based 1st person sneaker. It doesn't sound like much of a change (and the graphics are a big improvement) but it completely changed the texture of the game for me. There's a 4 coming out at some point, but I'll probably wait until it's $5 based on the 3rd game unless the reviews are uber-stellar.
Play FF for the story, not for the game.
Terraria is a distinct experience from Minecraft despite very similar basic mechanics.
Rez might be hard to get to; it's an old PS2 game.

Provided that I don't have a PS2, Rez might be harder. I suppose I could get an emulator.
Alright, I'll keep Theif in mind. And the third in the series developed by a new studio sounds classic 3rd syndrome.
So, for Disciples 2, which race do you like playing?

Well, true. Most of the gameplay is the same (some new interface tricks and new tools I think, but otherwise you could drop the missions right in). But the change to a hub format was.. just... ugh.
DII - Typically Legions or Empire. Occasionally Horde, but never Clans.
I prefer Legions against human players.

Typically I customize for research. I haven't played in a while, but from memory Creative, a research bonus, and... large homeworld I think?
I tend to select the avatar randomly, but there may be a bias to Psilon.
I always end up being a slow starter, but that's pretty well given with that kind of build. I don't do well in small, crowded galaxies >.>

Same here. Except I don't want to cripple my spies; can't stand it when someone steals Core Waste Dumps from me. Or worse, Phasing Cloaks.

Haven't played it much; just HR for about 15 minutes. It's on 'the list'

That word has never meant anything else to me. Despite being in college before Starcraft came out

Typically single target heal and Defender.
There are a lot more ways to die than there are ways to get status effects that cure could work on.
As for Defender; it's a lot easier to go capital hunting with built-in armor >:D
