I'm kind of jelli, actually. I vastly prefer the video games of today, and all the various ease of use and "not a quarter after every game over" things, but there's something about a good arcade that can't be beaten. Even I, who usually ignore social locales, enjoy a good arcade.

Yeah you use a regular deck of cards. It's sort of a combination between Slapjack and War. The object of teh game is to possess all of the cards. Players take turns placing cards face up in a stack. If two cards of the same value get placed, whichever player slaps their hand down on it first picks up the stack and adds it back into their hand. If a face card is placed, the opposing player has to "pay" a number of cards and then the player who placed the face card picks up the stack. The value of the face cards is A=4, K=3, Q=2 and J=1. (If Jokers are used, they're worth 5.) So for example, if I place a Queen, you have to put down 2 cards and then I take the stack.

However,

If a face card is placed while "paying" cards, then it reverses back, so for example, I place that Queen, then you pay a 5 then a Jack, it'[s now on me to pay a card then YOU take the stack. So Jacks are desirable because there's fewer chances for an opponent to reverse it before losing the stack. If a face card is played on top of one of equal value, the first player to slap the stack gets it, just like above.

If a player tries to slap to pick up the stack by mistake when there's NOT doubles, then they are penalized a card that gets laid on the stack. (This CAN trigger a doubles slap.)

Violent card game, but fun.

I believe that He is the literal Son of God and that He suffered and died on the Cross to redeem us from our sins. I believe that Heavenly Father calls modern Prophets to guide us, just like in the Old Testament times, and that the first modern prophet was Joseph Smith. I believe in the restoration of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the restoration of the Priesthood.

I would say there was Peter, then Paul, who filled the role after Jesus returned to Heaven... at least for that part of the world. The Book of Mormon chronicles up to about AD 450 and had a few until it ends. Other than that no. It's why a Restoration was needed.
