Haha, nope. A friend of mine started to do that completely unintentionally the other day and then we both started laughing halfway through.

If that's from Vice Verses then I'm going to feel stupid because I don't remember it. I even googled it and came up with nothing.

Actually it was from Demon Hunter. But it turns out to be 'I built this anguish with my own hands'.
/shame
However I rather like my version, and will be incorporating it into something later.
Lack of writing longevity?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but, no, I haven't written too much recently, on the lyrical side of things, although I am working on something currently that will probably take a while.

I meant when you start writing something, but fail to finish for whatever reason.

I'm working on a song, as usual.
Lyrics inspired by life and Mumford and Sons; I meant it to be a song for the band that I'm still working on putting together, and I have no idea what the music will be, but it's still exciting.
All I have so far, unfortunately are these two stanzas:
We'll keep trudging on with our dusty souls
Creaking without water and the truth
I will break my hands to stir the coals
Or fan the flames down to burn the roots
Wipe the slumber from your eyes
Spread my thumbs, pull back to find
Your heart pressed down into the dirt
And mine said dig it up for her

In my thoughts, it sounds poetically similar to something Josh Garrels would write, but I have been listening to him a lot lately.
I like what you've got though.

I guess I can see that, but I wasn't thinking it.
The music (at least for the chorus) that I have now definitely sounds like Mumford though.
And, I've heard of it, never had it.

Cheerwine tastes sort of like Raspberry Dr. Pepper. Weird.
Food with weird names, but you eat it anyway?

Only one of those is correct.

Erm...I had a friend once who ate nigh an entire package of Pup-Corn before figuring out it was dog treats.

I tend to not like those. Primarily because the evidence of their consumption is always all over my face.
