(I'm in a grading mood today)
"Catch For Us The Foxes" <-- mewithoutYou
I like this more than (A-->B) Life but it doesn't really top Brother, Sister. Gets real close though. Still a great album.
A
"It's All Crazy! It's All False! It's All A Dream! It's Alright" <-- mewithoutYou
Defintely different than the usual aggressive style mwY does, but I still like it. As much as Brother, Sister (which happens to be my favorite mwY album) or Catch For Us The Foxes? I dunno. I need to listen to this more to figure that part out.
A-
"Deju Entendu" <-- Brand New
A total different album than Your Favorite Weapon. Certainly more mature lyric-wise and musically than YFW and it's a nice break from the "song for stabbing me in the back" or "song for leaving me for my best friend" songs that make up most of YFW. Yet I still find myself going back to YFW? Huh. I find myself liking the songs on YFW musically more than on this. I still haven't listened to The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me, maybe that one will take over YFW as my go-to Brand New album. And there's the new album coming out in September (I think). So. Pretty indecisive on this one.
B
"Armistice" <-- Mute Math
Haven't listened to it, but the frontman said they wanted to make Mute Math look ridiculous compared to this. I hope they did. Although Mute Math was an incredible album, so there's some high expectations coming into this for me.
"Ok Computer" <-- Radiohead
Never really listened to much of Radiohead, but I got this one just to check them out.
"Narrow Stairs" <-- Death Cab For Cutie
Had a few songs off of this, and I wanted to get the whole thing.

My cousin gave me (more like, I took them from him XD) some CD's:
Nevermind - Nirvana
The Battle of Los Angeles - Rage Against the Machine
The Best of Both Worlds [disc 2] - Van Halen
Nevermind is so scratched up though, I don't know how well it will play... oh well, it was free.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

Yeah... it's a pretty solid album. I really loved their first and was initially let down with this album... but it's remarkably good. >.>newcement wrote:"Swoon" <--- Silversun Pickups

Er. Last album I bought? I can't remember.
Probably Hold Time by M. Ward. Oh yes.

I loved Jon Foreman's Fall EP so I decided I'd pick up Winter and Summer as well. I just need Spring and my collection will be complete.
