Depends on who you ask. Some say it's okay to have herbal tea only, some won't do tea at all of any kind.Bruce_Campbell wrote:I know you guys aren't allowed to drink alcohol or coffee. Is tea allowed?

Boris Vallejo used to be one of my favorite fantasy artists, even if much of his stuff runs on the risque side. But I tend to prefer the works of his former student and now wife, Julie Bell. She seems to have such a great use of color to her works!ArcticFox wrote:
I prefer Vallejo paints, which I get from my favorite gaming store. It's expensive but well worth it.
Oh yes. Not the game... but the book and the movies were truly awesome.mebmatt wrote:Lord of the Rings?
Boris painted so much if you picked up a fantasy novel in the early '80s there was a good chance it was Boris. I didn't know his wife had been his student. That's kinda awesome. I agree some of it's a bit overly... voluptuous... but his influence definitely had a huge impact on the look of fantasy art even now.Sstavix wrote: Boris Vallejo used to be one of my favorite fantasy artists, even if much of his stuff runs on the risque side. Have you seen their stuff? If so, what are your thoughts?
I think it's idiotic, because it creates resentment in the customer base.Chozon1 wrote:What are your thoughts regarding Games Workshop's "no one but us can sale over the internet" policy?
Elmore is a great artist, too. Did you know that he is resuming his comic strip Snarf Quest? It's going to run in the Knights of the Dinner Table comic / gaming magazine.ArcticFox wrote:
My favorite remains Larry Elmore. In fact, I'm wearing a t-shirt with his work on it this very moment.
I wonder if they were doing their business selling at lower prices to the Australia/NZ customers.Chozon1 wrote:I know of at least one online shop that's had to close its doors because of the new policy. Which doesn't thrill me. /grump

It's possible, I 'spose. It was a Canadian company, and the official report was that the (with the update to the policy a few weeks ago) inability to sell GW products across borders or over the internet took away a large enough portion of their business so as to make it unfunctional anymore.ArcticFox wrote:I wonder if they were doing their business selling at lower prices to the Australia/NZ customers.
thewarstore.com gets around it by having all GW orders done by phone. They've been doing that for years.Chozon1 wrote:It's possible, I 'spose. MiniWarGaming, aksually.
Is that anything like metacognition?Chozon1 wrote: Pondering propensity?
I truly hope that isn't true...Chozon1 wrote: You can't change the masses, and therefore, you cannot undo the idiocy?
