Cut her some slack, she's not a guy.
An assortment of college textbooks.
Yay, finals.

Never thought I'd hear that coming out of you.
Besides, I was just giving her a hard time.

I read the first two just to see if it was as bad as everyone believes. Probably not, but there were a lot of headdesk moments and I recall laughing at it a lot. "I hear voices when I get an adrenaline rush. See a shrink or jump off a cliff... jump off a cliff."
Anyway, a Psychology textbook and the Hobbit. Also the World of Darkness Arsenal book.

The Sun Also Rises, by Ernest Hemingway.
Also have Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky, Victory by Joseph Conrad, and Kenilworth by Sir Walter Scott on my "to read by New Years" list.
May also add The Secret Agent, also by Conrad.
And possibly the complete works of Edgar Allen Poe. If I finish everything else.
EDIT:
Adding Nostromo by Conrad, The Agony and the Ecstasy by Irving Stone, Walden and Other Writings by Henry David Thoreau, and The Last Plantagenets by Thomas B. Costain.
And I may be taking off Kenilworth.
...
I'm going to be stuck in a house with extended family.

I finished The Prestige and I'm about halfway through Stargirl, all while trembling in anticipation for starting the newest addition to my personal library, Markus Zusak's The Book Thief.

Shadowmoor
The book is a series of short-stories set in the Magic: The Gathering universe. It's pretty meh. I don't particularly recommend it.
In fact, the only reason I kept reading is because our library system doesn't see fit to keep its branches open on Mondays any more... and this was the only fiction sitting around from my brother's last visit to the library that looked remotely appealing.
I'd so rather be reading Wastelands for short story compilations.

I was reading Eragon, but I found it hard to keep up with at times, and so, when it was due, I returned it to the library. I'll get it back out and finish it. Eventually.
