Firefly is a very big winner in my book.

My favorite, non serious, TV show is The Big Bang Theory

Sometimes it is a bit too sexual, but it matches the age of the college scene, and is not all so 'new partners ever episode' like Friends or something on cable.

The Nerd aspect of the jokes is great. I smile just thinking about it.
It is in reruns on a station here and I somethings only watch 1/2 an episode to savor my joy and muse,
expecting I'll see the rest at some future date.

I relate to most of the show despite my age, except I never really was a nerd collector of something like comics or associated with a Sci-Fi movie or TV show. I was into 1/32 scale model race cars and RL, like the Space Shuttle program and reading the magazine Scientific American.

I say, I enjoyed the animated series much better than live shows.

I've had a lot of favorites throughout the years... The Carol Burnett Show, Star Trek(the real original Star Trek), Emergency! , Adam-12, Lassie...that's all I could think of for now. This list kinda shows my age, but that's ok.
