Dune by Frank Herbert.

Only....detracting thing is that there is a 30 page terminology guide at the beginning.

Which, of course, reminds me of Eragon. XD

The Handmaid's Tale

So amazing and dark. Convincing material that we shouldn't mix church and state. I'm a sucker for theocratic dystopia fiction, though....

Also finished The Importance of Being Earnest, by Oscar Wilde, which proves that really old books can still be hysterical.

Also: Dune wins the Game.

So, I finally finished reading Empire Falls. It's definitely a slow burner, but I ended up enjoying it.

I'd give it a B.

Dracula. It's taking me forever to read through it, though I have no qualms with it yet.

I should hope not, that's an amazing book.

Red Badge of Courage, for school.

How does this qualify as a classic again?!?!?!?

This is a good question.

I'm about to start Anathem by Neal Stephenson.

Stephenson is one of those authors that I love to bits... but have a hard time getting through. His massive tomes (this book is 900+ pages) are complicated and hard to follow, but ultimately very rewarding. Anyway... hope I can get through this one. XD

Could be the way the southern accents are written, can take some getting used to for some.
