Don't read a ton of them. Usually the most that happens is I follow someone on twitter (who happens to have a blog) and I'll read what they link.

Why do people constantly make evil AI's when science fiction for the past 70 years has showed that evil AI's are going to destroy the world some day?

Oh goodness, I don't know if I can pick just one. I really enjoy Gnocchi with marinara, stir fry of any variety, curry, all manner of pastas and sauces, Gyros/Doner Kebab, I could really keep going. As for why, well, I think they all have one thing in common: They take your taste buds on an adventure, if done right. With the right seasonings, even a normal tomato sauce can be made into something special. Stir fry requires more creativity, but it's still possible. Indian, Greek, and Italian foods are also notable for their pronounced flavors (Indian food favors spices, Greek usually has olives and cheeses that give extra flavor, and Italian food is usually very highly seasoned).

Probably because they either don't think the sci-fi scenarios are reasonable, or they are under some boneheaded assumption that AI will work out (or that they can "control it"). For what it's worth, I don't think AI will be "consciously evil" in the traditional sense of an AI that is self-aware and is doing actions it knows is evil, but some variation of the
Paperclip Maximizer situation. I mean, we already see this in companies in Silicon Valley that are doing everything they can to ruin working hours and extract anything useful they can from their employees before they burn out.

That sounds so delicious. Shame I'm trying to lose weight.

Stop losing weight, it's a fickle goal. Eat food instead, that is a much more worthy thing to strive for.
Night owl or early bird?

But I've nearly lost 50 pounds since September, and I need to get a more reasonable weight.
Definitely a night owl, but I also prefer getting to work at early hours so I can go home early, which generally means I stay up late and get up early, and never get enough sleep either way.

That split second of horror when you realize you were about to say something terrible and then miraculously don't?

Probably Netflix, but I only subscribe to Amazon Prime and CBS All Access. Trying to save money.

Happens with regularity at work. My boss is a <censored stream of invective>.

CBS has some good shows. I would recommend 'The Good Doctor' and 'Madame Secretary'.
The Super Bowl, yea or nay?

A solid "meh"
Don't really care much about sports to begin with, and American Football is scraping the bottom of the barrel for me. I'd be much more likely to attend or watch a Test Cricket match or a Baseball game.
