How kid friendly have you found this server? Do you feel like the chats are kid appropriate. What do you feel is a good age to let a child on the forum?

I'm not sure I understand that last part... Do you mean it sounds like I'm saying other belief systems are equally valid?

Ahh tres cool. I too work with Liferay at both of my gigs.

Yay. Some of by best portlets were written while I listened to the soundtrack to Tron: Legacy

Not if it comes from McDonald's

Overall, very. The mods are pretty good about getting rid of inappropriate content on the rare occasion someone tries to post some. I wouldn't have a problem letting any of my kids use it... The only age caveat is that I wouldn't let a child onto the forum until they were old enough to be a functional part of the community.

This is the BEST coding music.

What I'm saying is that just about every religious system has some truth. The key is to respect that.

And of course, all of my programs look just like the programs that prep the arena contestants...

Sure nobody's completely correct and completely wrong; that's reasonable. But that's not what I was asking. I was asking about specific claims made from spiritual experiences that are directly conflicting with yours. Do you write their's off as disingenuous or misunderstood, or shrug your shoulders and say we'll find out in the end?

Isn't that just good code design?

I guess more the latter, with a dash of them being the one who's surprised ;)

Haha, gotcha.

Now, for a much more light-hearted question:

Would you rather fight off a hundred duck-sized horses or one horse sized duck?

I'll go horse-sized duck. Easier to clean and cook, and I've had 12 years' experience fighting off giant ducks.

I keep having to remind myself that you don't live in Utah. Does that make me a racist?

It makes you a man who is at least aware of geography. Not many people can even find it on a map these days...

Ever visit the Celestial Kingdom exhibit at the Salt Lake City temple? I think I know how I want to paint my kids rooms.

Did I ask this before?

I haven't, and no I don't think you have asked it before.

Never even been to SLC...

If you do, I imagine you'd visit the temple. Beautiful building. The Celestial Kingdom exhibit is this large domed room with space-y stuff painted all around it. Pretty cool looking.
