Ask the Mormon
How kid friendly have you found this server? Do you feel like the chats are kid appropriate. What do you feel is a good age to let a child on the forum?

I'm not sure I understand that last part... Do you mean it sounds like I'm saying other belief systems are equally valid?ArchAngel wrote:I guess I'm asking on how you know, because it seems you're saying other people's claims and beliefs are just as or similarly as likely.
Ahh tres cool. I too work with Liferay at both of my gigs.Deepfreeze32 wrote: We use Liferay with some semi-custom portlets and Google Apps integration. It's pretty awesome, and the new version of Liferay we're trying to push out is pretty baus.
Yay. Some of by best portlets were written while I listened to the soundtrack to Tron: LegacyDeepfreeze32 wrote: Music while coding: Yay or nay?

Overall, very. The mods are pretty good about getting rid of inappropriate content on the rare occasion someone tries to post some. I wouldn't have a problem letting any of my kids use it... The only age caveat is that I wouldn't let a child onto the forum until they were old enough to be a functional part of the community.harrelsonm wrote:How kid friendly have you found this server? What I'm saying is that just about every religious system has some truth. The key is to respect that.ArchAngel wrote:It does.ArcticFox wrote:I'm not sure I understand that last part... Do you mean it sounds like I'm saying other belief systems are equally valid?
And of course, all of my programs look just like the programs that prep the arena contestants...ArchAngel wrote:This is the BEST coding music.Yay. Some of by best portlets were written while I listened to the soundtrack to Tron: Legacy

Sure nobody's completely correct and completely wrong; that's reasonable. But that's not what I was asking. I was asking about specific claims made from spiritual experiences that are directly conflicting with yours. Do you write their's off as disingenuous or misunderstood, or shrug your shoulders and say we'll find out in the end?ArcticFox wrote:What I'm saying is that just about every religious system has some truth. Isn't that just good code design?ArcticFox wrote:And of course, all of my programs look just like the programs that prep the arena contestants...

I'll go horse-sized duck. Easier to clean and cook, and I've had 12 years' experience fighting off giant ducks.

I keep having to remind myself that you don't live in Utah. Does that make me a racist?
A vegan atheist walks into a bar. Bartender says "Hey, are you a vegan atheist? Just kidding, you've mentioned it like eight times already."
