Any time. ^_^ Also, Wind Waker was remade for the Wii U, and it's another Zelda title that, if you didn't already play it on the Gamecube, you should consider getting. It's completely different from most Zelda games, yet still clearly Zelda.Deepfreeze32 wrote:Much appreciated! I'll be looking into those games when I can.
Some music!
I've shown you Ayreon before, but I don't know if I showed you this song before. Either way, thoughts?
At the risk of quoting airpa, I can't see the picture. I don't know if the youtube thing is busted, or it's my browser plugins farting out again, though.
That one is hard...If we're talking about magic use as the main weapon or ability and not just another tool in the arsenal...it's still tricky.RedPlums wrote:Favourite magic wielding superhero & villain across all comics?
Doctor Strange immediately comes to mind. And I do like him. I feel like there's someone I'm forgetting that I think is the coolest ever...I just can't remember them. I like Zatanna too, though I'm not sure she really counts.
Dang, that's hard.
For bad guys, there's Dormammu. Morgan le Faye is scary too...
Heh. Thor and Loki. THOR AND LOKI. Man, that took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out.

Huh, looks like I somehow posted the video id incorrectly? It was missing the first character. Oh well.
Work now?
And yeah, even though I beat Wind Waker on GameCube, I'm interested in getting the Wii U remaster. And the Twilight Princess remaster, even through I never even started that one...

Why is it when you try to play a team-based game competitively you get the worst teammates in the world?

Wow, that was...strange. XD Good, but strange. I liked the flavor of the music, but...weird.Deepfreeze32 wrote:Huh, looks like I somehow posted the video id incorrectly? It was missing the first character. Oh well.

It's funny, but I got Twilight Princess at launch, beat it, sold it, and then bought it again five years later and never finished it. O_o
Yeah...I wouldn't mind having a replica of Squall's. That thing is just stupid awesome.micah211 wrote:I had to google a Gunblade... I think I need to use one before I die.

There are no bad team mates...only bad teams. You must look within yourself to find the flaws in the team, and correct them by--
No, sorry. I can't keep going even in jest. @_@ I have no idea...I try to be understanding, actually, for the most part. I fully realize that sometimes people are just newbs, and don't know they shouldn't try to play "competiive" or "ranked" game modes until they have their feet wet. I did that with my first Iron Banner...I hadn't even leveled my character fully, and was still using blue equipment. XD And I understand that beginners are beginners; they have to get punched in the face a few times before they'll find their feet. Everyone has been there, and I don't mind it. I'm OK helping people cut their teeth.
But at the same time...that's beyond frustrating to deal with when you are trying to get better. And there are some people that, you can tell, aren't even trying. The people that round the same corner twelve times in a row and fall to the same sniper, only to respawn and "death or glory again"? I put them in this category. The people who jump around the map randomly firing their gun? Same. The people who huddle near whatever form of heavy ammo or rawket lawnchairs the game has, not bothering to try and fight until they have a big gun? Oh, yes sir.
That isn't even including the trolls and...ahem. Dorks, shall we say, who get their giggles by tripping their own team up. -_- Oh, if I had a ban hammer, or team killing was allowed...
So why is it you always seem to get the worst teammates when you're trying to be competitive? Actually, some of it is within yourself. I find myself more likely to notice flaws, screw ups, and bad skills when I get focused on trying to win. It is at those times I must harken back to the days of the Samurguy, take a deep breath, and realize that not every battle is winnable. I have to actively make a choice to sheath the sword of angry competitiveness and remember: I can only do my best and have fun. At the end of the day, it's a game, and some people will play it better than others. This happened earlier today, actually, when I was playing Vainglory (A MOBA. A member of my team was feeding like it was dinner time, and that game snowballs quickly.)
The rest of it is a RNG, I'm afraid. O_o That affliction of all server based multiplayer games. You gotta figure, with all the people playing online, you are bound to get a few less-skilled (and or idiotic. >_>) players from time to time. XD
I do like Gentleman Ghost. XD He's kind of funny, in a terrifying sort of way.RedPlums wrote:Zatanna, Martian Man Hunter and Dr. Strange for me on superheroes and Gentleman Ghost for villains.

I was carrying the team for all games but the first, when I was being a try hard.
Carrying to loss.
Is it weird that I still haven't gotten sick of Chik-Fil-A?

"Weird" is definitely a great word to describe Ayreon.
So I really want to show you some tracks from their album, The Theory of Everything, but each "track" is 20+ minutes long. So rather than link you a full track right off, here's a sampling from "track" 2. Be warned, it doesn't break into a track well, so it begins and ends in the middle of a transition between movements.
If you like it, look up the album on YouTube. It's really awesome.

However, the fact that everyone is still addicted to Chik-Fil-A? It's...somewhat unsettling, when you truly sit down and consider it. Granted, they douse all of their food in a liberal coating of MSG...but so do most fast food places. Yet most people I know can and do eat CFA with ridiculous frequency. It's weird, and it hasn't slowed down. O_o
Christmas day. Some times we will open a single present on Christmas eve, though. And we usually have a toy or game we open and play with as a family.RedPlums wrote:good answer.

Marshmallow shooters have been the favorite, so far. Even though my dad still swears I almost blinded him.
With a mini marshmallow. O_o
That was pretty awesome, either way. I like the 80's flavor.Deepfreeze32 wrote:"Weird" is definitely a great word to describe Ayreon.

It has to be the peanut oil then. Our chicken is nothing special. The breading and peanut oil are the special things.

So I ordered a black Wii U, which comes with a black GamePad, and a 4GB SD card. When it came, I ended up with an 8GB SD Card, and instead of a plain black GamePad, I got this:

You know you're a little jealous.

CFA chicken has more sugar in it as well. That's why it browns into that wonderful crunchy shade. Wait, you work at CFA? O_o How are you typing and not eating free chicken?micah211 wrote:It has to be the peanut oil then. Our chicken is nothing special. The breading and peanut oil are the special things.

Aimbot being illegal?
I'm unfamiliar with the term. From a quick search, if it just means aim assist or auto aim...I'm OK with it. If it's something inherent to the game engine, anyway. Most console FPS games that I am familiar with have some hint of auto aim built in, and it doesn't usually bother me. If everyone has the same tools, then the resulting birdhouses are still based on skill, right? If someone is adding it in, then they are cheaters and should be banninated for life, and maybe have their console melt. >_>
If PC gamers are adding it in...well, that's just hilarious. Isn't mouse+keyboard the undeniably superior control method?

That's not true...I'm actually painfully jelli. O_o You sir, have scored the sweetness. <3 I think I would have a shelf built for it special.Deepfreeze32 wrote:So I ordered a black Wii U, which comes with a black GamePad, and a 4GB SD card. Meh. I bought and beat DS:E in one day, and I still regret it even now. It's a good price, but...what has been played cannot be unplayed.
Interesting science fiction idea...horribly graphic execution.
Interesting...that seems a bit like watching the movie, then buying snacks. O_o I'm not sure I'd be opposed to the idea, however...I mean, you get your presents a full eight hours earlier. :ORedPlums wrote:FINALLY! someone else who opens one present on Christmas Eve! I have not watched it, but I know a lot of people are excited about the reboot.

Yes it is, if people add aimbot to certain games they get a fine and permabanned.Chozon1 wrote:Isn't mouse+keyboard the undeniably superior control method?
And yes I work at CFA, I get all the free chicken and cookies... Makes me happy when I work, like today.
