Play any of the new Destiny update?
Yes...yes, I could eat that. A dozen or four, probably. O_o

I hadn't, and then you reminded me, so I did. I got Twilight Princess as an Easter gift, so I had kind of put Destiny down while I played that. And you know what I discovered?

Destiny is not a game you can walk away from, come back to, and still have your skills. O_o I played a Weekly Crucible match to get the silver cube thing, and managed to not die long enough for my team to scrape a win. I then played the level 41 Prison of Elders (for reasons of 'I have fart for brains'), and spent most of my time running around panicking and shooting kneecaps as Taken swarmed around me. I had to be revived so much it was embarrassing. XD

I need to put some time into solo missions to regain my stuff, basically. Part of it was that I left the game playing a Warlock, and took it back up with my Titan, which is a huge change in play styles. But so far, I love the Chroma armor (though I wish it was an effect which could be applied to any armor), and the game on the whole feels a bit more solid. It seemed like I got handcannon'd more than shotgunned in the Crucible. Though I'm sitting pretty with Invective, so the ammo subtraction doesn't affect me as much. :D I'm also glad they upgraded the prison of Elders and added more missions in general.

Brian Crain?
Nice. XD

I listened to bits and blurbs, and the entirety of 'Moonlit Shore', and that dude makes some beautiful compositions. <3 Stunning, really. He brings all the flavor of the classical composers with ingredients of his own. No complaints.

Emoticons or Emojis?
I might have to watch it then. I'm actually not certain why I haven't.

Probably emoticons; I find emojis annoying.

I've noticed the same thing, so I just don't stop. The longest I can go without losing my skill is 3-4 days. There are however some good weapons to get you back into things... Handcannons, Fusion Rifles/Shotguns, and Machine guns. They all require aim and patience. hehe patience and time

How are you liking Twilight Princess?

Well, here's a double whammy for you!

For this first one, feel free to ignore the last 2 minutes of silence. Stupid YouTube music uploads....

For the second, I dare you not to groove with the beat. I dare you.

Nice. XD That's my second favorite sniper rifle, outpaced only by Icebreaker. It's crazy to have a Titan that can cloak. All it needs is ammo regeneration, and then we could really call it broken. XD

I'm really enjoying it. I played it before when it first came out then sold it. I got it again for an Easter gift, and I've just reached the Arbiter's grounds. The disc drive in my Wii keeps shorting out though, so it's becoming a bear to play. -_- That said, I think I would say that it's probably my favorite 3D Zelda...even above Ocarina of time and Majora's mask.

Haven't played Skyward sword though.

I enjoyed both, but I was fidgeting more to the first one...the second was ruined for me because I immediately thought of the thunder as flatulence. -_- I'm sorry. I figured it out before the song ended, but the spell was broken. XD

How about this one? It's not as dancey, but it has some great grooves to it.

Hey, I liked that one a lot; reminds me off Andy Hunter's stuff. Kinda makes me sleepy. XD

It's good. It's got a heavier dose of the typical Zelda moral issues than Ocarina, but the items are awesome (better in some ways, worse in others), the dungeons are bigger, and the world itself is more...more. More fantastic, more gritty (which isn't always good, but meh) and more fantastic. I'd recommend it.

Considering that Final Fantasy IX isn't the most famous or beloved of Final Fantasy titles (might not even make the top five), and Vivi (while one of my favorite characters) certainly isn't the most recognizable of the characters in the game (you see Garnet a lot, and after all Vivi is only a blue robe away from being a generic Black Mage), and also that he's chibi'd...I wouldn't say so.

Now Cloud is another story; if you don't recognize Cloud Strife and his Buster sword, then you need some gameducation. :D

RedPlums wrote:Potato salad?
All day, everyday. As long as it's not the terrible sweet stuff and no one has desecrated it by putting eggs or cauliflower in it. O_o

Give me large scoops of the tart yellow variety with diced veggies, or mounds of the creamy dill and onion salad, and we shall toast to glorious potato victory.

Looks awesome...At times, I really regret buying a PS3 over a PS4. It made sense at the time, since I was able to purchase it quicker and all of the top-teir games were plentifully available used for less than $20 and often less than $10, meaning I could build up my collection rapidly, and fill it full of amazing games, something I couldn't do with a PS4 and games costing upwards of $30 each (at the time I purchased it). Plus, I collect game consoles, and having sold my 30, I wanted another last gen console.

But now last gen is all but pooped out, and the flaw in my choice, as you see, is that I cannot play any new release titles, and I don't have a current gen console. Sony could've alleviated the problem by making the console backwards compatible, in which case I would've bought a PS4 but...c'est la vie. It makes little sense for it not to be backwards compatible, and I would've missed out on a boatload of great games, but that's a rant for another time. :D

Best part of Doctor Who. I hate the show, but I love the title music. and that feels a lot closer to the classic version. That music and "The Empty Child" are the shows greatest contributions to modern society.
RedPlums wrote:Champagne?
That and caviar, and we'll have fancy times. <3

Actually I've never had champagne, and I don't drink alcohol. If I did drink, I think it'd be homebrewed cider or ales, since I love the process and science of homebrewing. I used it to make naturally carbonated 'soda' over the years, and when you get a good batch, it's amazing. Champagne's a bit fancy for me.

However, I adore champagne grapes, those tiny little bursts of flavor occasionally carried at grocery stores. <3 I could eat them until I got sick.
Emwok wrote:Favorite video game?
...Why don't you ask me what type of air I like best? :P

That's a surprisingly hard question for me, since I've been gaming since I was six; it's a part of my life, and one of the few areas I consider myself truly skilled. tend to delineate things into genres, because I'm notorious for being unable to decide favorites.

if I go by most played, Destiny is my current favorite. It's usually the game in my PS3, and my go-to for soda fueled, pizza soaked, game fests. Good times. I don't want to know how many hours I put into it, honing my skills, finding better gear, leveling up the different classes, or just saving the Last City from imminent destruction. Destiny inspires me, and pulls me into the game world when I play it.

But so does the Monster Hunter series, and thus I could probably say that's a favorite, since I've put several hundreds of hours into the various games over the years. Nothing like going toe-to-toe with a monster dozens of times your size, right?

Yet again, I look to Super Metroid or Chrono Trigger. Games from my past, wherein I began learning diligence. Even now, almost two decades later, I still remember finding the Jump Ball and Rainbow blades before all of my friends. It was a true accomplishment back then. Good days.

So my favorite game? Not to be a cliche'd emo kid, but it's any game which pulls me into it and engraves a good memory, I guess. :D
