I'm probably not going to get one because they are only for the 3DS, which hurts my hands.

Best tooth paste brand?
I have a 2DS, and I play it all the time. But my hands are permanently shaped around a portable console, since I've been playing them since the OG Gameboy. :D I looked it up a bit more, and though it still looks neat, it's not high on my list.

Offhand, Nature's Gate. I got it at Sprouts. I bought it because its anise flavored though, not because of any special properties. <3 I could eat that stuff like candy. And since it's not fluorinated, I really could eat it like candy without any ill effects on my health. ^_^

I won't though. Because eating toothpaste is weird, even for me. -_-
RedPlums wrote:Best tooth brush brand?
Hmm...probably Colgate or Crest. Though I don't usually buy branded toothbrushes; I prefer the cheap ones, since it is after all, just a small plastic brush.
Emwok wrote:You should probably look that up yourself... I just looked it up and I'm not sure whether or not I should post it. Maybe I'm just being too cautious.

Theocracy?
Heh. That's almost never an auspicious beginning. XD I did though, and I'd call it questionable as well. Nonsensical too, but it's grunge; c'est la vie.

Theocracy has been one of my favorite bands for about 5 years. Maybe even six; they're the only band in the last decade I've seen live, too. It was worth every penny and the 5 hour drive that went along with it. <3 I got within...I dunno, 5 feet of Matt Smith? Close enough to send my into heart palpitations when I realized who was standing next to me. I barely constrained girlish giggling and screaming. One of the highlights of my life. Take that for what you will.

"Laying the Demon to rest" used to be my cellphone ring. Got me some weird looks. XD Though I think my favorite song is "Mirror of Souls". So beautiful, so poetic...so deep.

One of the best metal bands ever. I think anyone could like them, if they listened to the words.

A friend from one of my classes told me to check them out and I was pretty surprised at how good they were. I have only listened to a couple of their songs, but I've really liked what I've heard so far.

Winter Jam?

Hmm...actually, I made an excellent Coconut Cream pie for Thanksgiving. It was perfect in consistency, creamy and coconutty in flavor, and just facebreakingly delicious. It looked like something you would see in a professional kitchen, and tasted like something you'd eat in heaven.

Probably, it will never happen again. Which is why I'm comfortable with saying how good it was. XD

I know right? From Georgia too, which is more amazing given they're metal. XD If you've got twenty minutes to spare, definitely check out Mirror of Souls. Laying the Demon to Rest and On Eagles Wings are some I'd recommend too.

I uh...could probably talk about Theocracy for awhile. XD I don't give figs about famous peoples, but I nearly giggle aloud when I consider that I was within arms reach of Matt Smith. <3

Winter Jam is to me as conventions; I always intend to go, never do. -_- This year, it'd probably be worth it for Red alone, but again, I doubt I'll go. They're coming pretty close too...I dunno. I may get the gumption. :D

Sort of over-rated? I say that, but at the same time, I really love their food, and enjoy the atmosphere, and they're pretty much a southern classic eatery. Problem is, most of their food is "home cooking style", which I never eat when I'm out...because I eat it at home. I'm not about to order meat and veggies that I could eat almost the exact same order at home. Especially meat loaf and chicken & dumplings, two of their most popular items.

Which means I always order chicken strips, french fries, and mac & cheese; which, while incredibly delicious and not a common household food item, can be ordered almost anywhere and taste almost exactly the same, since almost all chain chicken strips come from a frozen bag. XD So you can see why I'm hesitant...I'd also appreciate something more than tiny biscuits, and tiny corn muffins for an appetizer...I guess I'm greedy.

It's fun to browse through the store and look at all the old-timey candy too. ^_^

Sort of the same as my thoughts on Cracker Barrel. In fact, I usually get the same order (Chicken strips, mac & cheese, and French Fries), though I do enjoy Perkins' cheeseburger's from time to time. I think Perkins even gives out similar tiny biscuits and tiny corn muffins? Been awhile.

Perkins also has amazing desserts; their eclair is straight from heaven, I think. They get a shipment carried down daily.

Oddly, I never thought that the same foods at different restaurants, or even home, taste like each other.
Even rival restaurants like Popeye's and Bojangles. Bojangles is better...
The candy section is super fun!

The Lemon Catfish is really good. The one time I went to Cracker Barrel, I got that instead of pancakes and stuff and I was not disappointed.

I'm seriously considering going this year with some friends since they're coming to Houston. Combine that with the fact that Red is there and it's only $10 at the door...

Do you own both MCPE and MCPC versions, one or the other, or neither?
Peace!

Popeye's or Bojangles?
Well, I was specifically referring to chicken strips. I believe (though I cannot verify with the exception of Arby's) if the restaurant doesn't specialize in chicken strips, it's probably just bought frozen and fried when ordered. Otherwise, a bunch of different places use very similar recipes. Perhaps they do. :D

OK. So, I've never eaten at Bojangles...but I love Popeyes. Like...I could eat there multiple times a day, for a week, and still go back for more. So, though it's a position taken in ignorance, I have trouble believing I would like Bojangles better. XD Closest one to me is Nashville, so on the rare day I end up there (four hours drive, one way), I'ma try it. Because if such a thing as chicken better than Popeyes is real...I want in. XD
Emwok wrote:The Lemon Catfish is really good. The one time I went to Cracker Barrel, I got that instead of pancakes and stuff and I was not disappointed.
I always seem to order the chicken strips...I'm not a fan of traditional breakfast foods, so even at breakfast, I got chicken fried steak. Which is apparently a breakfast item? But fried chicken isn't. Fathomless. However, I might try the Lemon catfish next time I end up at Cracker Barrel. Break the Chicken strip habit.

Crowder's there too, making it doubly worth it for me. I don't know, though.

Definitely Mirror of Souls. I love As the World Bleeds (oddly, I don't own the Wages of Sin), but I got into them right when Mirror of Souls came out, and the title track drew tears from my eyes, and my soul. <3 So I've got more history with it.
RedPlums wrote:Favorite Star Trek movie?
Tricky. I think I'd have to say Generations, or First Contact. I definitely favor the TNG movies to the TOS movies, and the remakes aren't even in contention. First Contact, I think, since the Borg are just so creepy.

Neither. I own Minecraft Windows 10 Edition, because I made the mistake of believing that Minecraft made for a PC was the same as MCPC. -_- It's like an amalgamation of MCPE and MCPC. It's fun, but somewhat featureless.

Let me clarify. I think Bojangles's biscuits, breakfast, sweet tea, and mashed potatoes are better. The chicken isn't as great as Popeye's but the other stuff makes it so good.

Not sure if you answered this already but,

Hmm...I feel better about my chicken consumption then. It's still on my list though, because I love fast food. <3

I absolutely love The Flash. More than Arrow, more than Supergirl, more than Agent Carter, vastly more than Shield, the Flash is my favorite comic book related television on now, and easily in my top five favorite TV shows. I watched Season 1 on Netflix, and then immediately went on Hulu because the cliffhanger ending was just too much to bear. XD

Partially, the fact that they're unstoppable. Sure, the Enterprise/Voyager crew always manage to find some miraculous pseudo science to stop them...but they always come back. Resistance is futile, right? They relentless march their way through the universe, consuming, destroying, and assimilating everything in their path.

There's also the aspect that they rob you of your identity, make you work against your will, and essentially turn you into a barely living zombie until the machine takes over the organic. That's creepy.
