Vanilla milk isn't my favorite but it does taste like melted ice cream!

I don't actually know what that is. O_o The Blizzard game? It looks cool...but I've no platform which can play it.micah211 wrote:Vanilla milk isn't my favorite but it does taste like melted ice cream!
Thoughts on Overwatch?
I don't have many, actually; after quick research, it seems like it was a sadly necessary thing at the time it was enacted. I can see ways that it would backfire now.RedPlums wrote:What are your thoughts on the 24th amendment?
I get all squeamish when I consider it. Despite my apathetic or brash facade, I don't handle rejection well.Sstavix wrote:So, if you were going to pitch your novel to a publisher, would you go for a big name one first (e.g. Tor/Forge), or try a small press?
I'm not sure, actually. I don't really do pitches, because I tend to despise when someone pitches something at me. I walk out of my way to avoid the DirecTV guys standing in Wal-Mart.Deepfreeze32 wrote:So what is the pitch for your novel, if you will?
Imagine you need to write an email to a publisher to convince them to publish your book. What would you say that could catch their interest?
Not only is that a question I want answered, it's a question you should answer when you start looking at actually getting published. At least, according to the few writers I've met before.
Uh...could you ask an easier question? Like which foot I would like to give up?micah211 wrote:Yes it's the Blizzard game.
Marvel Comics or DC Comics?
That would be hilarious! We have an electric drum set at our church and it might have a fart setting. Not sure though. Shenanigans at church can be fun depending on who is playing.Chozon1 wrote:That's one of those gifts you shove in the back of your closet and never think about again.Emwok wrote:Extreme Rubik's Cubing. Farting drums?
The rubiks; not the drums. Those could be interesting. Is it a drum set which farts, or flatulence used in place of drums?
The first would just be wildly hilarious. Best musical instrument ever, I feel. Smells like teen spirit, indeed. Especially if it was an electronic drum set with all the samples replaced without telling anyone.
The second...painful, but also wildly hilarious. Without lurid detail, you can achieve some nice percussive sounds with the use of a solid wood floor or metal barrel applied to one's backside. The backfire will hurt like the blazes, though. >_>
I think that's up for debate, though I can certainly see what you're saying, and I agree. I just think both companies do it; Batman's nemesis is the Joker, sure, but he's also got Ra's Al Ghul, who is basically Batman, but evil and with a goatee. The Green Lantern/s have Sinestro, and Dr. Fate has that evil Warlock guy that no one ever remembers his name.micah211 wrote:I agree with about 81% of what you said. I'm just a bigger fan of DC because I think the heroes don't have complete "copies" of themselves for villains. In Marvel its Hulk and Abomination, Iron Man and Iron Monger, Captain America and both Red Skull and Winter Soldier. They all have equal strength until the heroes find the 1 possible way to defeat them.
I don't see that much in DC like that, maybe The Flash and Reverse/Zoom and all the Bizaros.
But other than that, I like both![]()
But really now... Which foot would you give up?
That's definitely a Wednesday prank, as opposed to a Sunday morning prank. >_>Emwok wrote:That would be hilarious! We have an electric drum set at our church and it might have a fart setting. Not sure though. Shenanigans at church can be fun depending on who is playing.
The Terminator series?
I'm not sure I have one, honestly. Seems like a typical land acquisition of the time, though I don't know if Santa Anna had a right to sell that much land.RedPlums wrote:What is your opinion on the Gadsden Purchase?
Well...probably. Like I sez though, I don't like pitching things. I guess I'm finding it hard to describe the book in the first place, let alone in such a way that isn't too wordy or too generic. So short and sweet honesty is the name of the game.Deepfreeze32 wrote:I think your pitch could use a little more detail, but that's just me.
