I'm a slob. I prefer the term "pathway cleaner", though. IE: If I have a path to the bathroom, fridge, computer and bed...it's clean. >_>

I have many, but it basically comes down to "People often want to belong to something that gets in touch with their spiritual side, and sometimes the something that makes sense to them is Scientology. For my money, I am not one of those people."RedPlums wrote:Thoughts and opinions on Scientology?

In Church, do you prefer the older worship music (as in hymns and such) or the newer worship music? (as in within the last 20 years)

I kinda prefer a mix. Sometimes the classics are good, other times the more modern stuff is good.
Though I will say I dislike a large amount of worship music because of how simplistic it is (musically and lyrically). Now I'm not one to say that simplistic music is bad, but with such a wide range of expression available to musicians, it seems almost criminal not to use that. I'm also of the opinion that worship lyrics do not need to say the name of Jesus/God/synonyms(father, son, You, etc) every other line. I can't claim to know God, but I would like to think he'd appreciate a more nuanced approach to worship music that makes full use of the musician's capabilities and a lyricists skill.

Fried fish is excellent. Especially with chips (the British kind) and malt vinegar.RedPlums wrote:i mean, fried dough as in fried dough of any form.

God's appreciation is in His creations. I'm sure somewhere He has inspired music that appeals to you. If you're a purist, it may take some searching past commercial air play and social media. Personally, I've moved towards Christian air play which in my opinion contains more creative expression than secular programming (probably because they have to generate $$$).Deepfreeze32 wrote:I kinda prefer a mix.
