Band trips?

I have not experienced one. Seems like it could be fun though. As long as the trumpet guy actually packs his trumpet, and doesn't play it the whole drive. @_@

True that. I joined the symphonic band at Lone Star because in order to take private lessons, you must be involved in some sort of music group. I will be playing percussion although I have never touched a drum in my life. I found out that the band director does this regularly. Even last night (first band practice), they were playing a piece and the band director said, "okay guys, we need an oboe player. Anyone want to volunteer? The positions are similar to saxophone," and one guy was like, "uh... sure I'll try it out." I think it will be a lot of fun. We are going to be taking a trip to some sort of convention this semester and I'm not sure if we're playing there or not.

I'm actually not that bothered by it...usually, by the time I go and get a cavity filled, the tooth has been hurting me to an extent that whatever pain I endure from el doctor is actually less than what I've dealt with on a daily basis.

That said, getting a tooth drilled isn't what I'd file under fun, either. Most days.

The first is a cyberpunk crime thriller set about a hundred years from now. It follows a group of hacktivists (Name not set in stone) that attempt to uncover evidence of a political conspiracy after a senator is assassinated. It includes cyborgs, implants, and themes of censorship.

Spoiler:

The second is a first-person, fantasy story. An imperial wizard (Known as an inquisitor) is sent to another continent to sniff out the suppliers of a terrorist faction, and ends up on an Oregon Trail-esque adventure across the continent. This is based on a D&D campaign I played.

Cavities are like angry demon dragons; you take care of them when they're young so they don't grow into mind-breaking, I-can't-breath hurt later...I've reached that stage before. That said, I firmly believe tooth pain is the worst you can experience, so even going to the dentist for repair isn't an easy solution...pleh. Bad times all around. -_-

That's tricky. I like OOT, of course, and Majora's mask...but I think it would be one of the 2D iterations, Link's Awakening. That game, to me, struck the perfect balance between fun and clever. It's not impossible like the original, but the puzzles are much more developed. Story's entertaining too.

That said, I haven't played any of the new ones. -_- I'd like to go through Twilight Princess again too, as I remember good things about that game.

Of course. ^_^ Both are interesting, but since I'm much more a fan of fantasy than Cyberpunk, I lean towards the second. I also like the ideas behind it; exploration, mystery. I think it would be a lot of fun to sort of 'discover' the new continent through the inquisitors eyes, and you've also got a good backbone with having him tracking someone. Inquisitor sounds awesome, too, I won't lie.

I like the idea of the first one, and I would read it; it's just not my typical genre. I think that one might be more...poignant I guess. Since it would carry themes from the real world.

It's a great game. I haven't played it in a long time, but I think I teared up at the end.

Probably...probably, mind you...I would go with chocolate. I do love strawberry milk, but it can have a weird after taste. Haven't tried vanilla milk, actually. I bet it would be like drinking ice cream. <3

It really depends on the day. I adore Chik-Fil-a, but they put MSG in all their foodstuffs, so members of my family cannot eat there. If I was by myself, I would be more tempted to eat there than if I was with my family.

I think probably McDonalds; their food is amazing, and pretty much anyone can get something tasty there. It's a good all around eating place.

Plus, their Mcnuggets are all the flame and all the glory. <3

Idea number 1 is my NaNo novel that I'm waiting to edit. Idea number 2 is currently being written. I've even outlined some ideas for sequels, up to five books, all based on D&D campaigns.

The rubiks; not the drums. Those could be interesting. Is it a drum set which farts, or flatulence used in place of drums?

The first would just be wildly hilarious. Best musical instrument ever, I feel. Smells like teen spirit, indeed. Especially if it was an electronic drum set with all the samples replaced without telling anyone.

The second...painful, but also wildly hilarious. Without lurid detail, you can achieve some nice percussive sounds with the use of a solid wood floor or metal barrel applied to one's backside. The backfire will hurt like the blazes, though. >_>
